Jockeys Dream Home is the perfect location for friends, family, and racing fans. Beat the parking and enjoy a less than 10-minute walk to Oaklawn. Only minutes from downtown Hot Springs, this home boast the space and location perfect for any family.
The fully equipped kitchen offers the utensils and spices necessary to offer a home cooked meal away from home. Our complimentary Coffee & Hot Coco Bar pairs perfectly with our firepit and seating outside. Feeling lucky? Test out your hand in poker before your big day at the track.
For parents, enjoy all of downstairs to yourselves. With two queens, a full bathroom, and a Keurig downstairs, it makes for the perfect escape for yourselves.



Things to note:

Three bedrooms upstairs and a fourth bedroom downstairs.

There is one room with two bunkbeds, another room with two queen size beds, one room with a king, and downstairs has two queen beds.

Two Smart Tv's in the home, one in the living room and one downstairs.

Outdoor grill for your pleasure. Please remember to turn off grill and propane after use.

Codes to front door will be sent to you prior to arrival.

If guests need anything, you can reach me at my private number that I will provide you prior to arrival.

There is one step to get inside the home. There are several steps leading downstairs. Access to the back door is located downstairs.

Very disappointed in the outdated house. No dishwasher or garbage disposables. The beds are horribly uncomfortable. The beds are like pull out sofa mattresses. Half of the outlets don’t work. Air condition don’t cool house under 79* Not worth over 300 a night. The kitchen cookware and dishes lacking and very musky spelling.

Everything was great. Had a little trouble with the internet at first but worked through it quickly. Perfect location for the track and casino. It’s why I like to stay there.

Great for Guys Trip

For a group of mid 20s guys, this was a perfect place to stay. Manager was very fast to respond and easy check-in and check-out. Property within walking distance of Oaklawn and plenty of beds/rooms. If we go back to Hot Springs as a group, we'll absolutely be staying here.

The house was clean and was a good fit for our family trip! We couldn’t get the WiFi to work, the host attempted to contact the vendor but it never did work. There were some outlets that didn’t work, but host said they were going to be fixed. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again!

Host was very apologetic, but the WiFi wasn’t working, seemed someone may have stolen the Ethernet cord. There was also an outlet that wasn’t working at all for the coffee maker.Host seemed completely unaware and was very apologetic, but it did affect our stay

Cheap beds near Oaklawn

The house worked fine for our group wanting to be close to Oaklawn without breaking the bank. Cleanliness was an issue as there was dirt in the beds and dead bugs on the floor in the basement. We also found some dead bugs in the Keurig. It was evident no one had been to the house in a while since both refrigerators had leaked out onto the floor when we arrived. There were no hand towels and only 6 shower towels although the house advertises it sleeps 10 people. Beds did not have full sets of sheets. House has potential but needs some work. Host was nice and quick to respond when we had issues.

We arrived in the evening and rec'd the entry code just fine but we never received the computer network (WIFI)code that we were promised so we had no email access, no computer access at all and no TV access. The house was fine, beds not all that comfortable but do-able. No dishwasher. Handles on under-sink in the kitchen were broken. Yard not mowed but we didn't use the yard anyway.Saturday morning at about 10 am 3 policemen arrived with guns drawn to the house directly across the street. Someone had left the house vacant with 3 abandoned dogs that could run in and out of the house at will. My daughter tried to take her dog for a morning walk and the 3 dogs charged at her - this happened twice. Dog pound had to come. Our homeowner had no control over this but still, it was a bad experience, esp. for our daughter and her dog.The rest of the neighborhood was quiet/peaceful. It is not close to the water but close the the main street so we did not have far to go to get groceries, to eat or to sightsee downtown. A big house with lots of beds. We were not in the house that much- only in late evening so it was ok for us. but we did think it was a little expensive for what we got. As far as no wi-fi for the weekend - that was ok - teens weren't stuck on their computers - but still, it was promised.

House was very spacious and had plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. Would book it again for sure. If you are looking for a great location near the track and not too far from downtown this is the spot for sure.
