Our family loved the lake access and all the water toys! It was great to spend the hottest part of the day in the water. The house itself was spacious and well stocked. We experienced a minor issue but the host was very fast to respond and helpful! And their step by step directions made the house easy to find. The neighborhood was quiet and great for evening walks. Only thing that wasn't noted in the description - the bunk room is more of an open loft space rather than private room. Fortunately we all went to bed at the same time but the bunk room didn't appreciate the morning kitchen sounds.

Family weekend on the lake

Great place! The dock and toys made the weekend awesome! The view is Amazing and the lake was pristine. My only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. The paddle board and the big blue mat were enjoyed by all.

Lovely Lake Stay for the Family

We were so pleased with this Lakefront property. We were a family with four generations. The grandchildren loved the toys on the bottom level and there was plenty of room for our crew to spread out. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful lake views. Lots of bedding, towels and space. Space was as described. Perfect for a group of friends who want to find something in the middle of the start and finish line of the Bourbon Chase Ragnar Run.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the host's house. It was decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed that as we celebrated the holiday there. It was roomy and comfortable with lots of spaces to stretch out. Our teens had fun in the basement watching tv and playing games. Our adults had fun visiting in the upstairs in the living room with the comfortable couches and around the big dining room table. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. The views of the KY river from the upstairs with all the windows were outstanding. We enjoyed having coffee each morning on the outside deck overlooking the beautiful river. We enjoyed the dock on the the water. Each bedroom was very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely rent again and would like to come back in the summer to enjoy the river and all it has to offer with swimming and kayaking.

Wedding Getaway

The facility was nice, but there were some concerns. There was a pungent odor, that of a dead rodent or rotten food that had been left, that remained throughout our retreat. There were no instructions on how to turn on the lights in the bedroom closest to the front door; there was also no safety gate to the downstairs area or to the steps off the balcony that led down to the water. It was known before the party that we had toddlers in attendance, and no accommodations were made for their safety. The pictues of the facility showed an area outside where the children could play, but I did not find this area, unless it was the small side yard to next to the neighbors house,

Rebecca, I am sorry that the accommodations were not what you expected. We do have 3 baby gates now that can be put where ever needed through out the house as well as a pack and play and a ton of toys for kiddos in the basement. I am very accommodating if you reach out ahead of time with any requests.

This lake home was perfect for our weekend celebrating both a birthday and the 4th. The dock was a great place to not only relax but swim and watch fireworks. We will definitely consider this home for future trips!
