Cosy quality two storey holiday flat in medieval city centre, Casa Michelangelo

Charming two storey house apartment in a restored seventeenth century house.
This retreat was recently officialy licensed as a **** holiday house by the flemish tourist board.

High degree of home feeling assured through the use of quality construction materials and selective furniture pieces in a picturesque setting.
All house comfort with laundry cleaning facilities in the basement and well equipped open kitchen. Refreshing corner with shower cabin on the first floor and nice bathroom with bath on the upper floor. Nice small roof terrace.

The Master bedroom is quite spacious and has a beautiful beam ceiling all the way in the saddle roof top. The second bedroom has a small dressing under the japanese staircase that leads to a mezzanine under the saddle roof top where you can find a large double bed . Please note that this bedroom is very cosy but has a completely different setting then the master bedroom. It is very much loved by children and young people although being used all the time by grown-ups also. For elderly it might be a bit more difficult in use.

The house is located at two steps of the canals and a three minute walk from the market square. This dwelling ensures an unforgettable short stay or holiday period.

It was a great pleasure staying for 10 days in Casa Michelangelo. It is a beautifully furnished, spacious apartment, with everything required for comfortable daily living. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood in the centre of Bruges, accessible by walking to all sites. Alex is a marvelous host, very welcoming and helpful with recommendations to get you oriented to the city. This is unquestionably the finest accommodation we have experienced. We highly recommend it.

Alex was a great host. The location is perfect for getting into the heart of the city but being slightly removed from the full hustle and bustle. Beautifully done home and excellent space for a family of four. Laundry was nice to have and easy to use. Very clean property. Would definitely go back.

We had a fantastic week in Bruges and Casa Michelangelo did not disappoint! Centrally located, we had easy walking access to the Market Square, t’Zand, and lots of busy streets (with plenty of dining, chocolate, waffles, and frites!) We appreciated the AC as there were two very hot days during our stay. There also is a convenient grocery within 3 blocks and bike rentals nearby. Alex was a helpful and responsive host. The walk from Bruges train station is over a mile, but mostly cobblestones, so if you have heavy luggage, best to opt for a taxi (around 20 euro).

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely rental. The space is beautiful and clean. Everything worked well and the location cannot be beat. Would definitely stay here again when in Bruges.

Superb property just blocks from the center. A wonderful, clean, spacious property which was a pleasure to stay in. The property was beautifully decorated, had a modern and spacious master and main bathroom, a full kitchen, central AC and heating , and a washer and dryer. The host was very responsive to my inquiries and met us as we arrived to give us a tour of the property and answer any questions we had. This property would be good for both short and longer term stays. We would stay here again if we were to return to Brugge.

Beautiful apartment in historic building that is perfectly located. There was everything we sought, incredibly decorated, even a decorated tree and the host was incredibly kind and helpful.

Casa Michelangelo was beautiful and location was so close to everything. Alex was a great host…helpful and available at all times. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Bruges. Such a beautiful city!

This was a wonderful stay with my mother and niece. Check in was wonderful and arriving early we could leave our luggage as the apartment was bring prepared for us. Upon our return, our host showed us the apartment and gave us recommendations for food, shopping and sight seeing which were all great experiences. We enjoyed shopping at the markets and cooking in the kitchen which had everything we needed and more. The area was central and yet just far enough from the central square and close to a great market shop. The apartment was relaxing after a busy day and the roof top patio a wonderful space for a late afternoon drink. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartment within walking distance to all of Brugge. Alex (owner) was a great host, very informative and helpful. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed in, and we’ve stayed in many places over the years.

A lovely home, well appointed with everything you need. Close to so much in Bruges. 30 min walk from the train should you chose. And Alex, who is a wonderful source for all things Bruges from history to restaurants, is a very welcoming host.

Excellent location

This apt is in a great location just outside the busy tourist area. Its very quiet and allow easy access to all parts of Bruges. Alex is an excellent host and gave us many good recommendations for our visit.

Wonderful host, property, and location

Casa Michaelango and Alex were wonderful hosts during our short stay in Bruges. Perfect place for my wife, myself, and another couple. The location is a 5 to 15 minute walk from anything Bruges has to offer. A definite must stay.
