This home was perfect for our group of hockey fans. We loved all the bedrooms and the large kitchen and living room where we could hang out and share a meal ! House was very clean and had everything we needed . We would definitely stay here again !

Great house. Beds were very comfortable and great bathrooms, lots of space for family getaway. Lots of parking, good location for access to main roads. We would book again! Host was always quick to respond to any questions.

Great Stay

Had a great stay here! The house was great for our hockey team to stay in while we were in town for a tournament.Great communication as well.Will stay again down the road.

Perfect for family gatherings.

The property was wonderful and everything was as described. Great location. Property management was available and prompt when needed. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Great home

Had a team building weekend with coworkers. House was amazing and able to accommodate all nine of us easily . Great area close to all amenities . Would stay again with large group.

Extended Family Gathering

Siblings gathering for family funeral - hosted extended family for dinner after service. Host a bit restrictive on numbers (max 16) but otherwise understanding and accommodating. House was excellent venue for gathering in convenient part of town with access to airport.

This is a spacious home with a great large area to cook & eat & hang out on the main floor. The yard isn't quite as spacious as the pics make it look, but the neighborhood was fairly quiet so it could be nice out there. (We didn't have a chance to try it out.) The large damage deposit was a little unnerving, as there were things like a sticky front door, broken towel ring & chipped paint in several rooms that were there when we came. We treated the place nicely though & got our whole deposit back. The house was stocked with most things we needed to cook with. It was a good choice for our large family - accessible to activities & some fun areas around the house for the teens to avoid the adults :)

The Cove

Overall, our experience was excellent. Our prime complaint is about the two dogs in the backyard of the home backing on the Cove. On both nights, September 10 and 11....the 11th was the worst....as we gathered quietly on the deck just off the dining room, the owners of the home backing on the Cove let their two dogs out into the yard. On both evenings, the dogs barked loudly and incessantly for at least an hour. The only other minor thing: the master bathroom does not have a towel rack near the shower for the bath towels. For such a well appointed home, this seems like an oversight.

Our stay at The Cove

It served our purpose but the 'little things' add up to a less than stellar experience. It was clean and that was about it. Firstly, those front entrance steps have progressively become worse over the three years we've rented the Cove. The rise is higher than normal and for people in their early eighties, difficult to go up and down. We reverted to almost exclusively using the back door in the garage...those stairs have a normal, reasonable rise and there are railings. The venetian blinds throughout the home are simply awful...the rod that is normally attached to allow opening the blinds is missing on most of the blinds, leaving only the small and difficult to twist little knob near the top of the blind frame to risk cutting your finger as you twist to open and close the blinds. All of those rods need to be installed on all of the blinds. When I went into the Master Bedroom, the thermostat simply didn't seem to work...tried turning up the heat and nothing registered on the thermostat. The heated floors, which in past years worked, were off all over the house. The lamp on the night table beside the bed didn't work when I turned on the switch....because there was no light bulb in the fixture. I took the bulb out of the lamp on the night table on the other side of the bed and screwed it in...still didn't work. I pulled the night table away from the wall, and the lamp wasn't plugged in. I plugged it in and it worked. Not something I should have to fuss with at night. Although your material noted it. the fact that neither water or ice is available through the refrigerator in the kitchen is a real pain...plus the refrigerator door looks dented too. So, wear and tear is showing. It's a beautiful property until you look closely, and live in it. Not what I'd expect, especially after our third visit in the past three years. Finally, I found your 'portal' to be difficult to easily 'find' via my iPhone...I'd have to search my email inbasket for emails from Pear Properties and find one with the link...so I found it difficult to communicate until I found the phone number which is only to be used in emergency cases....well, as you know, when we tried to check in on September 10th, the code that you gave us through the check-in portal didn't work. We tried it about ten times over fifteen minutes to no avail. Although I didn't think that my check in code not working, delaying us from checking in, was an 'emergency' I had no alternative but to try the number. I called and no answer, no voice mail. Nothing. Then either I tried a text or I got an automated response suggesting text...anyway, I finally got someone responding via text and we were finally able to get into the property. So, all-in-all, not the level of experience we paid for.
