The property was easy to get to and close to all the amenities within Big Canoe and the grocery store was only 10 minutes outside the gate. The house had plenty of room and was very comfortable. Frank was easy to communicate with and provided all the little things we needed to enjoy our stay. We would recommend this property to enjoy your stay at Big Canoe!

The cabin was relaxing, with an open feel. The available indoor and outdoor space allowed us to spread out or be together. The opportunity for games in the lower level, the main level master and the flat driveway allowed us to have a multi-generational gathering. We loved the seclusion and mountain environment!

The cabin was quite lovely and bright and the view out the back of the house and deck was wonderful. Lush beautiful trees surrounding deck and lots of birds singing.Hot tub was fun and so relaxing. Communication with the host was outstanding!!! All my questions were answered promptly and fully and with good cheer. Great vacay stay, and terrific value for the very reasonable rate.

We absolutely loved our stay. We had several kids & they were entertained by the game room and the cute bunk beds. The place is cozy & has much space. We will definitely stay here again next year when we come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming rental, nestled quaintly in the woods. The setting is peaceful, quiet, and absolutely lovely. Perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. This is a great home for a family with dogs. It was clean and spacious. There were lots of games and activities and the kitchen was well stocked. We took advantage of the amenities including the indoor pool at the wellness center and the hiking trails. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. We had trouble with the hot tub being slow to heat (it got there but took longer than expected) and the hosts offered assistance and plan to get it checked out too after we left.

Fabulous vacation home! We spent 2 wonderful weeks there! Amazing response from owners at all times. I’m a foodie and the kitchen has everything you need. There might have been only 2 of us, but great home for family/friends!

The home was very nice. We were going through mold remediation at our house and they were very flexible with letting us add additional days as we didn't know exactly when we could get back in our home very accommodating would definitely rent from them again. Even our dog enjoyed it.

Very nice home and bigger than we expected. Great location just a few minutes from the golf course, fitness center, tennis/pickleball facility, and clubhouse. Home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac so very little traffic. Our pups loved the fenced in back yard. There are also miles of hiking trails of various difficulty ratings and at least 3 dog parks. We spent a week in Big Canoe and still didn't get to do everything we wanted there, and in the neighboring towns of Dahlonega, Ellijay, Woodstock and Blue Ridge. And nearby Jasper has all the essentials you need. I'm sure we will return to Big Canoe, and I hope this home is available when we do.

The home was exactly what we were looking for! It was comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms, even supplying a first aid kit which came in handy. The backyard was securely fenced with no holes and the fire pit worked great. The game room was also a boredom buster in the evenings. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. It was perfect for a little weekend get away, my dog and friends had a blast!

We loved the location of this rental. 8,000 acres of gorgeous woodland with all sorts of activities. We mostly took advantage of exploring the numerous hiking trails with our dogs everyday, but there's also a huge lake, a pool, golf course, recreation courts and probably other amenities that we never saw. The property itself was clean and comfortable. We cooked numerous meals with ease in the kitchen and enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets on the back deck. Communication with the owner was outstanding. 5 stars. We would love staying here again

Great Family Getaway

We loved our stay at Big Canoe! The home was a perfect fit for our family and our kids loved the cabin bunk beds. The owners thought of everything to ensure our family could make the best use of the space. From a well-appointed game room with a collection to several games, extra cute things for our doggies, and a relaxing master sweet, it proved to be the best space for each of us to relax and connect. We also loved the fitness center and dog park. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer.

This is an incredible home in Big Canoe. Our family enjoyed every minute. The game room in the basement kept our teenagers occupied. The deck overlooking the woods was so peaceful. The trail in the back of the house led down to a serene stream and the owners even had 2 chairs to sit in by the stream to contemplate the peaceful moment. Every need was met in the well supplied kitchen. Easy access to the trail heads (highly recommend the lower Falls trail). We will 100% be back to this lovely home. The host, Frank, was simply amazing. 5 stars!!!

Our stay was perfect! Host sent us details of the house and check in and check out process before hand. Was very easy to communicate with. House was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The host was kind and had a nice note and a bottle of wine for us. That was very much appreciated. The host sent us a list of helpful information for the area which was really helpful. The house location was fantastic, was close to the marina and beach club. Loved how private the house and location was. We loved the game room and was just a cozy house. Would 100! percent stay here again and would recommend this house to our friends and family.

Frank was easy to communicate with and had a book in the house that gave ideas as to what to do and eat in the area. The house was very clean and they had everything we needed there. You can’t go wrong renting from Frank.

Our stay was comfortable and had everything we needed. We were traveling with a 18 month old and there was plenty of amenities to make him feel at home, including toys. We didn’t get to take the hike by the house but Big Canoe is beautiful.
