Step back in time and experience a piece of history! Our unique and cozy renovated caboose offers a perfect blend of vintage charm and tiny home comfort. Relax in a truely one-of-a kind setting, admire the panoramic views from the cupola, and create lasting memories amongst authentic train furnishings. Complete with modern amenities, our historic train caboose provides an unforgettable nostalgic getaway.
Accommodating 3 comfortably; the kitchenette is equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, induction hot plate, and coffee maker for your convenience. Full bathroom with a shower, stocked with essentials and hooked up to continuous hot water. Two private decks outdoors with seating to enjoy the serene surroundings.
Duke, a German Shepherd lives at the main house. He is friendly but can be kept primarily indoors while guests are on site. Please coordinate with host &/or co-host about your comfortability with Duke's presence. Helpful tip: Duke LOVES it when you throw a stick for him!

This place was incredible and the hostess made us feel so at home. Lots of little touches that made it feel like a real homey place. Plus, I got to sleep in a caboose!

Rail Time

The stay in the caboose was fantastic. Clean and had all the amenities you would need. We only stayed one night, but more nights would have been better!!! Host was wonderful!

Great Experience. Unforgettable!

For a "tiny" caboose it was more than enough room for us. Extremely clean and decorated beautifully. Hosts were fantastic. Great amenities and extra touches. Duke is friendly and enjoyable. It was a unique experience we will not forget.

Delightful Stay!

We adored the caboose! So clean and thoughtfully stocked for us. We even were gifted fresh flowers, a thank you note, treats in the fridge, and a towel folded like a swan! She turned the outdoor twinkle lights on for us that evening, as we returned from a concert. We stayed cool, cozy, and tucked in!

Puppy pick up

It was beautiful. Rainy when we stayed yet still nice and quiet. Greeted by a furry bellhop made the trip. Was nice play to get to know our pup before we took her home to all our other animals. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Great birthday weekend stay

Booked this ADORABLE place for my husbands birthday weekend and would 100% do it again. Once we got in the decor of this place its just top notch. Very much give fancy stage coach in the best way possible.We came for a relaxing weekend and that exactly what we got. If you happen to book this place while it rains get ready for the best sleep of your life. The onsite dogs are ao sweet and super friendly.Has everything you could possibly need in a stay, and even if you forget something like shampoo or body wash, its already there for convenience.Highly recommended this place.

Perfect retreat!

This train caboose was renovated into a perfect place for a quiet retreat. The interior of the unit was in great condition, containing a mix of modern amenities along with the historic hardware and feel of the original caboose. The hosts provided everything that you might need and more including toiletries, dishes, coffee, Wi-Fi, two TVs, and even some prepared heat and serve meals if you are not in the mood to leave. There were some great train books to browse through and even a classic ink bottle and old-style pens with paper to practice your skills at writing in the classical way. The bathroom was very unique but fully equipped with everything that you need, including a shower! The hosts were very responsive and perfectly respected our wishes regarding their dog, Duke. Be aware that you must climb a few stairs to enjoy this unit but the climb is well worth it, especially when sitting in the upper areas to look out the top windows or to play the retro Nintendo! Overall, a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it to others. It would also be a great venue for a group gathering in the large outside yard which was also nicely decorated with railroad and other old-style artifacts.
