Located in the heart of Darien, walkable to everything that makes Darien so special. Walk 3 blocks to the waterfront for stunning sunsets and all the shrimp boats in this small shrimping community. Enjoy the freshest seafood with waterfront dining at Skippers fish camp. At the top of the hill enjoy drinks at the historic Tabby house brewery. Grab snacks at The waterfront wine and gourmet. Make sure to check out The Local Exchange where they only sell things made in Georgia. Grab coffee and breakfasts or lunch at The Shanty. This is a one bedroom one bath located in the other half of the house, is totally separate with its own entrance. Very pet friendly but not suitable for small children. Up to 3 well behaved pets.

Perfect one night stay on way to the mountains, clean, quiet and comfortable and we had a great dinner at Skippers! And the dogs had plenty of room with nice neighborhood to take them for a walk !

The property was perfect for our needs, which was a quick overnight stay. I only wish we weren’t in the middle of an east coast heat wave! The walk to town would have been enjoyable with our dogs. The bed was very comfortable and everything was in great condition- well stocked. The host responded quickly to my messages. It was a pleasure!

This is a very quiet and clean property, and comes exactly as advertised. Kudos to the excellent variety of teas and Keurig-style coffees—with real half&half. The bed was moderately firm and very comfortable. Great pillows. Communication with Susan was perfect. Accurate instructions on how to use the lockbox. Walking distance to great shopping and seafood. 10/10.

Pet-friendly. The morning wake up was a neighborhood rooster. Host was very nice. Recommend this property if you’re in Darien.

Accommodations were very clean and lots of attention to details. Location was a plus as we were able to walk everywhere. Host provided excellent recommendations of places to visit! We loved Tabby House and the Local Exchange and found everyone in Darien to be super friendly

It’s obvious that the host takes great pride in their place. The unit was probably the cleanest that we stayed at. She was very nice and easy to get ahold of if we needed anything. We are definitely going there again.

We loved our stay at Susan’s place in Darien. Susan was very thoughtful and very responsive. We arrived late and she left the front porch light on for us. The location was perfect to walk to the waterfront and easy to access the surrounding beaches. Our older dog was very comfortable at the rental and loved walking around the neighborhood. The unit was spotless and well organized. We were able to truly relax and enjoy. Hopefully we will be back in Darien soon and will definitely book again here!

This is a charming little apartment in a charming town. Susan added surprising touches such as milk and juice in the frig. It was so nice to walk to a fabulous seafood restaurant 5 minutes from her place. It was a great stopover so close to 95!

One of the coziest, friendliest and well located spots we have had the pleasure of staying. Susan anticipated all our needs in advance and had everything ready for us upon arrival. We took a nice walk downtown to little shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. Our host thought of every small detail to make our visit perfect! She always responded with answers to our concerns and questions. We definitely will return to Derien and stay again at Elbert St!

What an amazingly cute little place to stay. Perfectly situated for easy access to all areas around town and other tourist attractions nearby. The property owner even messaged us when we arrived to let us know of local events we might find of interest.

We recently spent a night while traveling from West Palm Beach to Aiken, SC. Great location just off I-95. And such a "sense of place". Authentic low country, huge live oak trees with Spanish moss, lovely water views as we walked around and charming cottages. Very comfortable bed and a great coffee station. Perfect for a couple and a dog for a night or a weekend getaway.

Darien is a quaint, quiet town and you can walk from the property to downtown. Communication with property owner was timely. Accommodations were clean and everything we needed was provided. Would definitely stay here again!

This is my husband and I’s go to place when in Darien. The hosts are very accommodating and informative and are dog lovers and always welcome our pets and the neighborhood is also dog friendly. We love that we can walk to town. Highly recommend Susan’s place!

What an enjoyable stay, we brought our dog Dilly and all 3 of us had a great time. Rental was very comfy and well stocked. Towel supply and toiletries in bathroom was abundant. The one day a front came through, we watched streaming movies all day it was great!! Highly recommend this cute place.Walk to town was so pretty and everyone was so pet friendly. Quaint shops and good restaurants. Tabby House brewery back deck was especially nice to sit and have a drink, Kat the mgr spoiled Dilly with treats.Wonderful getaway to a quiet slower pace.
