The Lodgings at Roaring River Vineyards (RRV) - the hidden gems in the NC mountains. It is located just two miles from Stone Mountain State Park, in the Yadkin Valley Wine Appellation in the heart of NC Wine Country, home of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC foothills, and overlooking the Roaring River as far as the eye can see.

Nov - March: Fri - Sat 11 am - 6 pm Sun 12 pm - 5 pm
The last seating for dining is 1 hour before closing ALL days.
(Due to our location the tasting room/restaurant being open 7 days a week is not viable, but getting out of the house and relaxing in the mountains is good year round 7 days a week. )

Nice relaxing weekend spent outdoors. Hiked Stone Mountain in the early morning. Seven mile drive back to another beautiful setting with delicious food and wine at Roaring River Vineyards. We booked the Birch Suite but a plumbing hiccup required a move to the upstairs Cedar. The host and staff handled the situation with prompt efficiency. We were impressed. The comfortable Cedar suite had everything we needed. Next door is the Tasting House with restaurant. We had a late lunch and wine tasting on the balcony then spent the afternoon downstairs riverside at the beer garden. Near closing we ordered dinner to go which we then enjoyed on the Cedar’s wrap around balcony overlooking the grounds and river. A perfect weekend. We are already planning to come back.

Truly restorative place. Can open the door and hear the river.. quiet place to read and relax. The tasting room was excellent and the general atmosphere was truly magical. We loved it and will be back-Almost hate writing such a good review because selfishly I want to keep this place a secret it’s that great!

Great location at the winery next to the lovely creek, on site restaurant and lovely grounds. Convenient to Stone Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, plus other wineries. The inside was nice though the HVAC wall unit was loud and right in the bedroom. Outside seating was a plus though a bit dusty. Very easy check-in and out.
