We had 8 adults and 7 kids and were able to fit comfortably. Plenty of things to do at this location and in the area. The only thing that the kids were disappointed in was that the paddle boat was broken. If you like to fish make sure to bring your fishing poles they are biting! The fire pit, hot tub and sauna were all great. The owner lives upstairs next to the house and comes by to make sure that everything is going ok and if we needed anything.

Loved the pond and the kids enjoyed the fishing. Close to breweries and plenty of activities. Mountain house was awesome with a sauna and hot tub. Highly recommend

This beautiful home provided the room needed for our large family event that took place in the area. We would stay there again if going back to this area.

The location near Amicalola Falls is unmatched. The stocked pond was perfect for our young boys and the lodge itself was spacious and accommodating. The VRBO listing does not reflect that the owner is residing in the property via an attached garage with only a shared wall b/w them and one of the bedrooms. While our group felt that the owner was present more than we would have liked, the overall experience was amazing and we had a wonderful time!

The lodge was so much more than expected. The host was very gracious and helpful when ever we needed anything. The animals were a special addition to a great weekend with friends and family. I definitely recommend this to friends. Secluded but not far out of town when you need anything. I rate the weekend a 10!!

Check in process was fine the host gave us a tour which is something that I've never had. Bathrooms were not cleaned as far as mold.. rags and towels were old with spots and stains. The host kept coming in and out every 5 minutes holding conversations and I'm not exaggerating. Extremely uncomfortable with the pop ups so basically he live on the property and we were not aware of that until check in but didn't give us our space he just kept showing up. Everything is out dated pots and pans rags towels linens... coffee and creamer 2yrs old. and i could go on and on .I do not recommend... Every time they let the dogs out they came and peed on the porch where we were sitting and cooking.. Absolutely nothing was cleaned or prepared for us to come.and ask us is we are going to the store. And bring out dated water to us . Really didn't like a person watching us all the time. Coming in the the door when he fills like it . Really don't have no privacy. Come in when he get ready .

Location and view were amazing! The property provides tranquility and comfort. The bedrooms were spacious with room for 11 adults and a toddler. Close to Amicalola State Falls Park and approximately 20 from North Georgia Premium Outlets. The host is onsite which is convenient for questions or concerns.

The lodge was great and you could not ask for more attentive hosts. Mr. Randy and Mrs. Becky were so welcoming and were there to assist with anything needed. The animals were so special and our children thoroughly loved them. The view was spectacular and we could see Amicalola Falls from our living room.

If you have little ones in your group, this is an excellent choice! The barnyard animals were a hit! The property is beyond beautiful. Our family enjoyed kayaking, Petal boating, paddle boarding, fishing and swimming in the lake. The fire pit was a great place for s’mores and we even had a photo shoot on the property. The view is incredible. There were more than enough beds, linens, and towels for our group of 14. We felt like we could all spread out and The house is incredible. We loved most everything about it. The host lives on site above the garage and is involved throughout the visit, so just keep that in mind. Randy was very pleasant, thorough and informative. If you want total privacy, this is not the place for you. If you do not mind interaction with the host daily, you will love this property. We enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this property.

Great time

Had a great time staying with family at Bear Ridge Lodge over the Christmas holiday. Provided the perfect getaway and back drop for our trip. Would definitely stay again.

We loved this place. We will definitely be back. We appreciated the host being available, We had everything we needed right there. It was a perfect getaway for my family, with room to spare. The house was fantastic, and the view was amazing. Fantastic place to rest and there are plenty of options to get out and do things within 30 min. The waterfall, that you can see from the house, is less than 10 min away and is a great place to visit for hiking and views.

The property was beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for our family! The kids enjoyed the animals and the fire pit. It was a wonderful holiday experience!
