Beautiful, peaceful lake house experience was exactly what our family of 5 needed. Whether fishing from the canoe or swimming & playing on the water trampoline there was something for everyone. Fire pit in the evening was a favorite. Would definitely recommend.

Great Place to Stay

Had to unexpectedly travel for Christmas, and lucked out booking this cabin! The property manager was great to work with and the place was perfect.

The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had fun kayaking on the pond and exploring the area.

Wonderful cabin!

We stayed in this beautiful cabin to attend my son’s wedding at a local venue. Lisa and Catherine were so easy to work with. The cabin has a wonderful view and was very comfortable. Great place with a great price!

Staying here is like staying at your favorite aunts house. Beautiful views and location.

Arrival was easy especially with our 83 year old parents arriving before us. The water activities, seating on docks and porch were perfect and the landscaping very pretty. The location is quiet and a great place to reconnect and relax.

Rustic, relaxing getaway

Very relaxing with great pond and mountain views. Kids had great time on kayaks, paddle boards and water trampoline. Looking forward to going back!

Our stay on Golden Pond

a wonderful stay - entire family stayed peaceful the entire stay, and this beautiful property and lake location helped a lot. I would highly recommend this getaway for anyone - just be ready for some serious stair climbing to and from the lake waters.

The property is exactly as described. There was enough room for 6 adults to enjoy the rainy days inside, and plenty of room for the group outside. Most of our time was spent on the dock, around the fire pit, or on the porch. A couple of things of note for future renters: the walk down and back to the cottage from the waterfront is a steep hill. I can see it being an issue for people who are not used to hiking or have mobility issues. Not long, just a large hill to climb. Although fun once you are up there, the water trampoline is extremely difficult to climb onto. The lower level is not air-conditioned, but fans were provided.We did have an issue getting the correct codes to unlock the door to the house, which delayed our ability to access the house by several hours. Once VRBO was able to get in contact with the owners, all was good and communication from that point forward was great. They were very responsive and apologetic too.

Lake getaway

This home has great door space and was cozy inside too. The views of the lake were wonderful. The kids had a blast on the paddle boards and water trampoline. Plenty of good restaurants around and lots of hiking and biking in the area.

Overall great experience. Kids loved the winter weather and frozen lake a f sledding. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.
