As one of our very first guests, we’ve been working to improve as much as possible. Since then, the property has a new gravel driveway, plus a fire pit and a hot tub—so there’s plenty to enjoy, rain or shine. Regarding the boat, the garage is not part of the rental, as noted in the listing. If we had known in advance that you were bringing a boat or needed access to power, we would have been happy to see how we could help. We always try to accommodate special requests when possible and even purchased a hose during your stay so you could clean fish comfortably. Being a log home in the woods, the occasional ant or critter can pop up, especially after rain, despite regular treatments. We did check in during your stay and didn’t hear of any issues at the time. I’m sorry you had to leave early due to your personal situation, and understand that may have contributed to a less-than-ideal experience.
