This lovely light-filled home is designed to maximize the superb ocean vistas. While enjoying ocean and meadow views in a peaceful private setting you will also be able to relax in complete comfort in this 1700 square feet home which features hardwood floors, upscale décor with imported rugs, vaulted ceilings, large windows, and fireplace. From the living area, step out to the ultra large ocean facing deck with teak furniture, Hot tub and barbeque. The kitchen is well equipped with all the modern appliances and the media center has everything you need…HDTV, movies, music, Internet.

Little slice of heaven

I usually don't write reviews, but I had a wonderful stay in sea ranch. The home was extremely comfortable and well thought out. Location was a bit further back from the beach but you can still hear and see the ocean. I would love to spend weeks there.

Great getaway

The place was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and firm. .My wife especially enjoyed having all the essentials available in the kitchen.

Perfect NorCal Getaway

This property exceeded our expectations! The house was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated in such an inviting way. Cari, was so easy to communicate with and was made us feel like it was our home away from home. We had so much fun and plan on making this home an annual vacation!

Comfortable stay!

Appreciated the high end stove and quality furnishings throughout. We were very comfortable. Great to have a smart tv with direct tv. Had a very nice Italian inspired feel. Also our dog quite enjoyed the plush dog bed!

Overall a nice place

We enjoyed the house, furnishings & amenities. Our son was on crutches, so he got the only main floor bedroom. The spiral stairs to the other bedroom & lift bed are an issue. They are the smallest diameter we have ever seen. Difficult for us as seniors to get our luggage up even. Otherwise all as pictured, linens, towels wonderful quality

A Diamond between the Forest and the Sea

Everything about this getaway felt like kismet. I knew within hours of arriving that I wanted to extend my visit, but alas, this absolute gem was booked out through the summer (not surprised). The few days I had at Cari's sweet, well-appointed sanctuary were absolutely magical. I've never stayed on the forest side of Sea Ranch before, and I must say, it was otherworldly. I loved it and the walk down to the beach was breathtaking. I spent a lot of time on the deck making friends with the hummingbirds that frequently drank from the voluptuous planters of nasturtiums. It was idyllic and I was sad to leave, but I'll be back!

Beautiful space in a lovely location

This is a thoughtfully designed and sited house. It is a space that is lovely to look at and that feels good to be in. It sits ion the hill side of Highway 1 and you have a nice view of the ocean across meadow and woods. There are neighboring houses, but it feels very private and is absolutely quiet. This is an exceptional rental property; think of it more as someone's very nicely furnished, very well equiped house that they happen to rent out. It is wonderful. Any caveats? Well, the circular staircase to the second floor is steep and narrow, just fine if your mobility is good but if not it could be a limitation. And the furniture is seriously nice--no place for anyone who is going to be hard on things. There's a reason this one is for adults only.

Beautiful location, home and everything you need

It was such a lovely stay. The home had everything we needed, it was stocked with every spice, coffee, supplies that you may forget to pack. We enjoyed the hot tub, beautiful views, serene peaceful walks on the trails. The home is decorated beautifully and was very clean. To top it off we brought our 12 year old dog and there were dog bowls, and a dog bed available to her.. a very nice touch. We would love to stay again.

So many nice towels...

A lovely comfortable home. Well stocked kitchen - nothing we couldn't find after looking a few times. Linens and towels top quality. Felt private despite some nearby homes. A bit of a walk to shore but very near forest paths in the red woods and Monterey pines.

Lovely retreat

Great house with beautiful views and fully stocked with everything you could need. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The spiral stairs are tricky to navigate with large pieces of luggage, so pack accordingly. The access to Stengel Beach is closed until 2025, but Shell Beach is just a bit further up the road and is wonderful!

Lovely Home

This home is tucked into a quiet cul-de-sac and has a mostly unobstructed view of the meadow towards the ocean. Access to the forest trails is just a few yards from the front door. The home is was very clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen has everything you could ask for. We really appreciated the forced-air heat in addition to the large fireplace, both of which kept us warm on a chilly weekend. We weren't able to use the outdoor deck which is large, appointed with deck furniture & umbrellas... and a hot tub. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owners for your attention to detail.

Wonderful host, lovely house

This comfy little house makes a lovely base of operations for a Sea Ranch visit. It's tucked on the slightly quieter east side of Highway 1, but it's not deep in the woods, so you'll feel a little more secluded without missing an ocean view. Meadow and forest trails are easily accessible, and if you're brave enough to cross the highway on foot, the beach is about a ten-minute walk away; if not, it's a two-minute drive. And people aren't joking when they say the house is well-appointed: if you want to use the kitchen, it's got all the equipment you might need and is completely stocked with all the staples. But the best part is the host. Cari was consistently generous, thoughtful, and welcoming. She's the best!

Beautiful, relaxing home in Sea Ranch

Beautiful, relaxing home in Sea Ranch! Ocean views from the deck (dining and living rooms, too) were just stunning! Wonderful to sit on the deck and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening (we only had misty weather for a couple of days!) Great location for hikes and easy access to the various Sea Ranch beaches. As several guests have mentioned, the kitchen was incredible -- everything you needed to prepare meals (Vitamix, Kitchen Aid, etc.) Cari was very responsive when we had a question about door access. Wonderful vacation!

Beautiful property, nice view. I was expecting it to be on other side of HWY 1, but location was still lovely! The beds and couch was very comfy. The stairs leading to bedroom upstairs were an adventure for us older folk. Little narrow and steep for us.

I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning house in Sea Ranch, CA, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking ocean views that greeted us. The architecture seamlessly blended with the natural surroundings, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Inside, the house was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities one could wish for. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation a joy, and the cozy living areas were perfect for relaxation for my family. The highlight, of course, was the outdoor space. The deck provided the perfect spot for morning coffee. Access to the nearby beach was a definite plus, allowing for long walks and a closer connection to nature. Overall, our stay at this beautiful house in Sea Ranch was a dream come true. It offered the perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty, making it a place I would eagerly return to in the future. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful coastal retreat.
