Stay in a spacious 90 m² designer apartment in the iconic Hadik House, one of Budapest's most famous historic buildings and former home of celebrated Hungarian painter Csontváry. Located on Bartók Béla Boulevard, named Budapest's coolest neighbourhood by Time Out Magazine, you'll be surrounded by cafés, galleries, restaurants, thermal spas and many of Budapest's most famous attractions.

Located on the 3rd floor with elevator access, the apartment accommodates up to 6 guests and features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, Smart TV with Netflix and cable TV, and ultra-fast 1000 Mbps internet for remote work.

Guests can enjoy nearby guarded parking from approximately €4/day, while the secure CCTV-monitored Etele P+R is easily accessible by direct tram.

The historic Hadik Café, a favourite meeting place of writers and artists for over a century, is located in the same building. Playgrounds, parks and family-friendly attractions are also nearby.

This property was so nice! Mark, our host, was amazing! He was always available and accommodating. The property was just as advertised. It was fully stocked, very clean, and easy to get to. It was close to everything. Very safe and reasonable. It was very updated with great A/C and a nicely appointed kitchen. Couldn't have asked for more. We loved it!! We will definitely come back here!

We had the most wonderful experience staying in this apartment. Great location. Short walk to Metro and market, and restaurants. The host is very nice and quick to communicate. Apartment is modern spacious has everything you need. We could have stayed here for a week.

Amazing location and fun style

Loved our stay here. This is right in the middle of many of the main food areas but still an easy walk to other sites and transportation. Host was great and would definitely stay here again!

Our host Mark was very welcoming and gave us recommendations based on what we were hoping to see and eat. He helped us organise transport to and from the airport which was extremely helpful. The apartment was fantastic, warm and spacious. Close to all public transport it was very easy to get around. We had a great stay and recommend staying in this apartment. Thanks again Mark!

The apartment was very nicely renovated and spacious. That said, the apartment lacked the basic essentials such as paper towel, tea towels, dish rags, dish soap, coffee maker not working, no extra towels, the towels were old, pillows were not bed size but small throw pillow size, the second bed in the loft was a mattress on the floor. The courtyard did not match the apartment and very run down.

Dear Richard, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you found the apartment nicely renovated and spacious. We are sorry, however, that some details did not meet your expectations. During your stay we sent a message asking if everything was okay and whether you needed anything, but unfortunately we did not receive a reply. Most of the mentioned items were available in the apartment, and we would have been happy to help immediately or show where they were located. Regarding the coffee machine, it was purchased only around two months ago and has been working properly. By coincidence, after your checkout we stayed in the apartment with our family for a short city stay and had no issues with the appliances. It may simply have required a quick instruction, which we would gladly have provided. We always appreciate guest feedback and will use your comments to double-check the setup and make the apartment even more comfortable for future guests. This property is exactly as advertised… beautiful, clean, in a lovely older building but the suite is completely modernized and everything has been thought of right down to the black out blinds. The owners were quick to respond - very helpful and detailed in their responses and suggestions. Would highly recommend and would stay here again if visiting Budapest.

Wonderful Stay – We’d Love to Come Back!We had such a great time staying in this lovely apartment. It’s beautifully decorated with a lot of style and attention to detail, and everything feels high-quality and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and spotless, and the kitchen is so well equipped — it had everything we needed and more. The apartment really looks like the images provided by the host. The house complex, built early 1900, has a beautiful charme The location couldn’t be better: very central but still nice and quiet. Public transport connections are super convenient, with both bus and train just around the corner. There are also some really nice cafés nearby for breakfast or a relaxed coffee.Our host was amazing – very kind and helpful, with great restaurant tips. Communication was quick and easy, and we really appreciated being able to check in early.All in all, it was a perfect stay. We’d definitely come back next time!

We absolutely loved the Apartment! It had everything we could possibly need.I had the loft bedroom. Mattress on the floor which I love. I need a very firm mattress. The room at the base of the stairs was nicely furnished and had a door to shut. This way you had your own private room.My sister and husband had the downstairs bedroom. It was a large room and furnished very nicely. Kitchen was great. I even used the small oven to heat up pizza.The 2 bathrooms offered lovely walk in showers, sinks etc.plus towel heaters.We did have a little trouble trying to get into the building and then into the apt. My sister called Mark and he answered immediately and walked her through the process. It isn't hard. We are just old and technically challenged. He gives you a video and codes.There is a great restaurant in the bldg. Cafe Hadic. Good food and not expensive. Mark told us about it.The neighborhood is great. Lots if little cafes and restaurants. Short walk to the river.If we are in Budapest again we would not hesitate to stay here. Its a very old bldg but dont let that deter you. Marks apartment is awesome. Just a side note. There are 5 Dr's that live in this bldg.

Entering the building is a slight shock as you walk into a courtyard with garbage/recycle bins but it all makes sense as then the bins do not sit on the outside of the building. Each unit on each floor opens onto the courtyard for departure and arrival but all the unit faces the other way toward the city. Go up the elevator and arrive at the door and enter into a clean, modern art filled unit that immediately feels like home. Spacious, immaculate & great design. Everything you need in the kitchen. There are shops nearby, restaurants and the tram a block away. We travelled to many cities in Europe on this vacation and stayed at hotels and VRBO’s but this was the very best. It was a pleasure to come back to this wonderful place at the end of a busy sightseeing day. Budapest was a fantastic, historic city but made even more special knowing we had this place to come home to. It was perfect! Thank you for creating a home away from home. For travellers who need to know more - you had access to wifi and multiple languages on TV plus access to movies. Laundry facility worked well once we received English instructions on-line. Two great bathrooms! The temperature in the unit was great. If I have left anything out I apologize but I can only say “it was perfect”. Not cognizant enough about how to upload photos but all I can say is the photos on line are exactly what you get! Wonderful, wonderful and I am very picky!

Ha sido una estancia estupenda. El propietario anos facilitó una guía de la ciudad y hasta el transporte desde el aeropuerto. Apartamento excepcional de 10!! Pensando en todo. Ubicación estupenda muy centrico y con bares, restaurantes y supermercados todos para ir andando.

We LOVED this place! It’s a great location to get into the city center via public transport. Theres also both a small and large grocery store very close. The apartment was perfect! I HIGHLY recommend!! And Mark was super quick to respond to any questions we had! 10/10!!

Für 4-5 Personen bei Familien auch 6 Personen, ist die Wohnung perfekt - großzügig, sehr gut ausgestattet, ruhig gelegen. Straßenbahn und Bushaltestelle in weniger als 5 Min. erreichbar, Restaurantes, Bäcker, Gemüsehändler, Eisdielen.... in der Nähe.Mit Bahn und Bus erreicht man schnell in unterschiedlichen Bezirken von Budapest. Jederzeit wieder!

We enjoyed our stay! We appreciated the automatic room darkening shades and the quiet apartment! The air conditioning worked great despite the excessive heat outside. The apartment was close to great restaurants and a small grocery store. Very easy to walk from Buda over to Pest. Would love to return soon!

Fantastic location in Budapest! Easy access to public transportation and great restaurants in walking distance. A nice upscale spacious flat with all the amenities you need. Very quiet and efficient Air Conditioner! The host was very helpful - the check in and check out process was easy. Highly recommended!
