We are so glad that the pool and backyard areas were the stars of your stay. That’s what we love to hear! Regarding kitchen supplies: for the cleanliness and sanitation of all our guests, we don't stock shared pantry items like spices, oils, or cooking staples between stays as we cannot confirm the integrity of the item transferring between guests. This was a practice required during COVID that we have maintained as best practice. We do provide a full amenities list - including what supplies are available in the kitchen in our pre-arrival communications and guidebook so guests can plan and pack accordingly before arrival. We recommend that all guests review that before their stay, and our team is here to answer any questions that you may have. On the basketball hoop, you caught us in the middle of our replacement process. We are replacing all of the previously used product with the upgraded product that we are rolling out at all homes. The previous product had issues holding up in our salt-air environment, so we have been ordering, building, and deploying replacements in an established process that should complete prior to Summer 2026. However, as soon as you mentioned it, we were able to get the brand-new model installed right away for you. We’re sorry if this caused any inconvenience, but we hope this provides some valuable context as to the ‘why’ part of it. Thank you for such a thoughtful review! It sounds like the home truly delivered for your group, from the quality of the kitchen and bedding to the bunk room with the climbing wall and gaming station. We love hearing that the pool, slide, and zip line were a hit, and that the elevator made life easier with luggage and family members who needed it. Those features really do come together to make a home feel functional for everyone. We appreciate the helpful tips you shared for future guests and would love to add a little context to a couple of points. For the beach walk, this home does have a private beach access at the end of the street, just about a 10 minute walk door to sand. We always recommend asking about the layout ahead of time if walking distance is a key factor, since we have several other properties closer to direct beach access. As for the kitchen, we intentionally do not stock communal spices, seasonings, or condiments for the health and food safety of our guests. Shared pantry items can carry cross-contamination risks between stays, and we have also found that flavor profiles are deeply personal. Our kitchens are fully equipped with high quality appliances and cookware to encourage cooking, and we trust each guest to bring or order the specific spices they love.
