The fishing camp has all the comforts of home, 3 bedrooms (11 beds) and 2 full baths, as well as a fully equipped laundry area with washer and dryer. The cozy living room and open-style kitchen easily has room for your crew.

But we think you'll spend all your time outdoors - enjoy the enclosed patio or the large outdoor deck. Or spend time downstairs, where you can fish directly off the two available docks. Turn on the string lights, light a fire in the fire pit, fish off the dock, or launch from the private boat launch and enjoy a day out on the water.

This is the ultimate fishing camp experience - fish all day, spend time outside at night and have all the comforts of home. This is a camp that you'll love and never want to leave.

We are located in the heart of Cocodrie - 5 minutes from the Coco Marina and minutes away from the very end of land and at the tip of the Gulf of Mexico.

A perfect place to stay in Cocodrie! The camp is such a cute and cozy little spot- equipped with everything you need! The owners are very accommodating and friendly. We will certainly be returning next year.

Excellent place for a getaway to do some fishing with the family. Property owners are very accommodating and go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. Definitely recommended.

Immaculately clean! Great location! Nicely appointed and well organized kitchen! Plenty of hot water and cold A/C! And....Everything Worked!Did I mention it was Immaculately clean?Great communication from the hosts who are genuinely concerned about their guests and delivering value for price. Getting into the camp was painless. No hunting for keys or fooling with locks that work if they want to work. Boat ramp, boat slips, gas grill, extra chairs all onsite. Nice upper and ground level decks. Wifi and flat screens. First class. Rent with confide!

We had an incredible stay at this Chauvin property and can't recommend it highly enough. The location right on the bayou is unbeatable — the sunrises and sunsets over the water were absolutely stunning, and it's an ideal home base for anyone looking to fish (redfish were biting right nearby, which made it even better for us).The home itself was spotless and incredibly well stocked. We barely had to bring anything — everything we needed was already there, from kitchen essentials to linens. It's clear the host puts real care into making sure guests are comfortable.Speaking of the host, they were fantastic — responsive, welcoming, and clearly proud of the property. It showed in every detail.If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, well-equipped place with gorgeous bayou views and great fishing access, this is it. We'll definitely be booking again!

Excellent! No complaints; except that because of the approaching tropical storm Arthur, we only got to spend two of the four nights we booked there. And, from what I heard after we left, from our “many years fishing guide”, it is a good thing we evacuated. We pray the house didn’t receive any damage.

We are Billy & Jaime. Both of us are South Louisiana born and raised. This camp is a dream we have always had, and we love every moment spent here. Opening it up to short-term rentals allows us to have others experience just a little of the goodness of Cocodrie. This is bayou living at its finest.

Cocodrie, Louisiana is well known as the "sportsman's paradise" of the United States. You can catch crabs, fish and oysters right off the dock. Or go on a quick boat ride and have access to the bayous and waterways that make this area every fisherman's dream. If you're not really wanting to catch your meal, the Coco Marina is about a 5 minute ride, down to the end of the road, boasting some of the best Cajun food on the bayou! It often has live music, Sunday brunch and different activities.
