We had a wonderful time in the pool. The house was clean and the beds were super comfy. My dog had plenty of room to run around.

Overall we had a really good stay! It’s an older house so there are a few cosmetic repairs needed, but everything seemed to be pretty clean.

We’re sorry to hear that Vivian felt the home did not meet her expectations. We take cleanliness very seriously and the home was professionally cleaned and prepared prior to her arrival. Vivian stayed at the property for approximately one day, and when she expressed concerns, we were more than happy to work with her and ultimately provided a full refund for her stay. While we respect that guests can have different expectations, we were disappointed to see this review, particularly after making every effort to accommodate her concerns and refunding the stay in full.

Negative: Basic, dated, lacks some basic amenities (shampoo, washcloths, etc). Did not use kitchen. Was more dirty than what I have come to expect (cigarette butts around the pool/doors). Positive: Spacious, pool was clean, beds were comfy, check in/out super easy, met our needs for the weekend.

Great stay

Loved the large rooms and big beds. Would have liked more kitchen utensils for cooking and more pots and pans. But the pool was great and everyone had a good time!

The pool was clean and had a electronic pool vacuum to keep it that way. The beds were comfortable and spotless. It is a 1970s house so if you love that era, like my adult kids and I do you will love it. I didn't hear from the host at all, but I also did not reach out The door key pad didn't work, but that was in the check in instructions as well as how to get in. Take pool shoes because the pool surround had some broken cement spots like most pools of that age. My one problem was bugs. I think termites or possibly flying ants but the owner is clearly paying an exterminator so that should be a non issue soon. I did send a message about them after check out. The shed needs cleaned out an trash picked up around deck . Keep small children away from that area for saftey sake. We had the most amazing 4th of July in the pool watching the fire works the neighbors were shooting off. That part was a 10 out of 10 memory for my Granddaughters.

Unfortunately this home is extremely dated and not as advertised. The carpet, bedding, kitchen, bathrooms etc was really low quality and obviously very old. The backyard is not at all set up for entertaining, the pool was extremely dirty and the backyard was a mess (I know there was some bad weather a couple days before but that doesn’t explain all of it). This home needs massive renovation/updating before it is rented out again.

Thank you for your review. We strive to make every stay a positive one. As you mentioned there was terrible weather and flooding in Wichita right before you arrived. We have since been able to clean up the backyard and the pool is sparkling clean. We have also purchased all new bedding. We hope that this will help up give a better experience in the future.

We travel frequently. Never in my life have we encountered anyone who strived so hard to ensure our stay was perfect. The AC went out. Within an hour he had someone over to assess the issue. The unit needed to be replaced. Within an hour he had some ones he o out and buy 3 huge floor units and then the next had a neew AC system installed. I was completely stunned. He offered a refund which we declined. Just awesome people and without a doubt the best host we have ever had. Amazing!!!!
