The house was beautiful!!!! We really enjoyed the back porch with the fireplace. We saw deer, bats and geese. Great location and a beautiful house, we will definitely stay there again.

Over the years we have stayed in many properties. Without exception Anne's home was the very best experience from start to finish. The home is beautiful with exceptional furnishings and decorative touches. Felt very much like home. Highly recommend. Communications were seamless, pleasant and effective. Highest possible marks in all areas.

My husband and I had a wonderful get away to Great Expectations in Dover Bay. We are retired and enjoy traveling to new places. It’s by far our favorite VRBO. It is beautifully updated! The kitchen is very well stocked for prepping meals. The owner thought of everything, even a garlic press! And the back porch was my happy place in the mornings with a hot cup of coffee in front of the outdoor fire overlooking the beautiful natural landscape. It was hard some days to venture out lol.

Beautiful lakefront cabin in Sandpoint. The perfect place to relax after a day of skiing. Everything you could need; clean and comfortable.

I'm giving this a 5-star rating not because everything was perfect, but because the host, Anne, was perfectly accommodating with any missing pieces. She was professional, genuine, light-hearted, yet prompt throughout our entire stay. The price was a bit high compared with others in the area, but my roommate and I wanted to have separate bathrooms. We're traveling frequently and Great Expectations in Dover Bay is by far one of our favorites, with the kitchen was well supplied with basic meals prepping items - a truly adorable and convenient AirBnB for homecooked option. The screen-in-porch and back porch with an outdoor fireplace were our go-to spots for serenity, just sort of melting into the natural landscape. We felt a need to protect and maintain the home as if it were our own, LOL.
