Thanks for your kind words about the house… the island has recently redone their process for obtaining amenity cards as of June 1… so it seems you visited when they were in this transition. We are sorry it was complicated but things seem to be working well now… There are nine Beach access points around the base of the island and the house is actually much less than a mile to boardwalk 9. We hope you will return!!

If taking out the garbage and ensuring the home is thoroughly cleaned are considered “problems with the management company,” then those are the types of problems most guests would welcome when vacationing. Our cleaning team completed the cleaning at 4:11 p.m. on your arrival day. While check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., we, as the owners, were personally on-site conducting our final inspection and spoke with you directly. It was July 3rd, during the island’s fireworks festivities, and we advised you that we would return later with additional towels. Those towels were delivered to the front porch at approximately 9:50 p.m., and a gentleman accompanied by a small child retrieved them from the porch. At no time did we enter the property without your permission. Regarding the garbage, as clearly outlined in both the house book and the electronic guest instructions, our staff places the trash containers curbside from the garage on Sunday evenings for collection and returns them to the garage on Monday. This is a standard service provided for guest convenience and property maintenance. Thanks for choosing a Sandpiper property! We are glad to hear the home was beautiful and in a great location!!
