-We have an additional Guest Agreement separate from the booking platform. By booking this home, you agree to this process. The Guest Agreement is a legal document from our law firm that details the rules and policies for staying here.

-After you book, you'll receive a message with a link to the Renter's Agreement. Please read it carefully and sign it to complete your booking. Signing this agreement is required for your stay in our home.

-Unexpected circumstances can arise - we HIGHLY recommend purchasing traveler's insurance.

-Please note that we permit a maximum of 2 dogs on this property, preferably aged 2 years and above. Also, there is a pet fee of $250. Our insurance does have breed restrictions. Please reach out for breed approval.

-Please note: There are a few steps throughout the main floor of the home, and a full flight of stairs leading down to the living room. Guests with mobility concerns should be aware before booking.

-On the finished side of the basement, there is a space heater. This heats the whole side comfortably, but please be sure to turn it off before bed.

This home was spotless, very comfortable and had great amenities. We enjoyed the projection television and table tennis very much. Samantha was extremely responsive to our every need. The location was absolutely perfect for easy travel into Boston while still in a quiet neighborhood. There is a lovely view of Whitmans Pond across the street and water access just a short walk away.Highly recommend this rental.

Samantha was very welcoming and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was very comfortable for my husband and I and our 2 dogs - there is an extra bedroom that we didn’t use so could have comfortably housed a couple more people.Enjoyed the gorgeous views of the lake and had fun with the ping pong table! We will stay here again when we come to Weymouth.

Good for our family

We found everything we needed at the pond house.We enjoyed family dinners at the large dining room table in the sunroom as well as a quiet morning cup of coffee. Our family will treasure this trip. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience.

I had a mixed experience here. On the positive side, the house overlooks a beautiful pond, we loved the ping pong table and games, and the owner was very nice and responsive.However, several issues impacted our stay. First, location and arrival: if you aren't local, note that Weymouth is at least 20 minutes from Boston without traffic (which is rare). The roads leading to the house are narrow, very bumpy, and tricky to navigate due to a few abandoned cars. Arriving at night was tough—no outside or inside lights were left on, forcing us to fumble in the pitch black. A combination lockbox hanging on the door knocker was confusing, and because it was so dark, we couldn't tell the main handle was actually the digital lock.Inside, the house needs a professional deep clean; our socks got dirty just walking the floors. The basement was quite chilly, relying only on space heaters, and had a strong musty smell that needs a dehumidifier.We were disappointed by the amenities. There were zero paper towels or napkins, and no dishwasher detergent—yet instructions require guests to run the dishwasher before leaving. Worse, dirty dishes from the previous guest were still inside the machine. We also couldn't get any TVs to work and don't think they have cable.For the price, it needs better maintenance. Put a door on the master closet, provide better towels, and stock basic supplies. Overall it wasn't bad, but we are unlikely to return.

The host was awesome. The amenities ok, cleanliness and items seemed sticky, overlooked and way too much unnecessary utensils, empty and outdated items throughout kitchen. Excessive extension and item cords throughout every in the house from tvs, to appliances. The only family room with tv and game room combo had no heat other than a portable heater that truly did not heat the open basement. As well, windows in each room had air conditioners in windows that made for more cold air blowing through. The roads are horrible and mostly a single lane with huge ruts in them so it’s on a bit of a danger and with 23” of snow coming I actually left 2 days early so I would not become trapped for more time than I wanted. I wondered how and where the plows would come and put the snow as the houses are very close in this lake house community.A lovely location but much better suited for summer rentals, not winter months. I was disappointed because I was truly expecting it to be a 10 throughout and was average at best.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear your stay did not meet expectations, as guest comfort is always our priority. The home is professionally cleaned after every stay, and this is the first time we’ve received concerns regarding cleanliness. We encourage guests to reach out during their visit so any issues can be addressed immediately. The kitchen is intentionally well stocked with utensils and cookware for family and longer stays, which many guests appreciate. The basement family room is heated with a high-output portable heater that has reliably warmed the space during winters when we personally lived in the home. I also explained that the heater could be repositioned closer to the seating area if desired. Window AC units are sealed for winter use and have not previously caused cold air issues. The neighborhood has multiple exit routes, including a paved road, and snow removal is handled regularly throughout the winter season. Throughout your stay, I remained readily available, answered all questions, sent a brand-new shovel, and offered to arrange snow removal. While we understand weather-related concerns, we’re sorry these efforts did not result in a more positive experience. We appreciate your feedback and wish you well in future travels.

We were visiting family in the area for the week and this house was in a good location. Arrival was easy with the door code given by the owner. The house is quaint and in a nice location with Whitman Pond visible. They provided the necessary items for our stay ie towels, sheets, kitchen essentials etc. The house was clean upon our arrival. It would have been nice if the air conditioning was on prior to our arrival, but not a deal breaker. Our 2 biggest complaints were the lack of lighting and the outside needs some TLC (pressure washing would do a lot). The kitchen was bright enough during the day; however, when it got dark you could barely see to do anything. The living room area was pretty dimly lit also. The 2nd bedroom is a full size bed, not a queen and the gigantic TV in there is unnecessary. A smaller TV there would be much better. Also, put a full length mirror in that room. There isn't a mirror in there at all. The 2nd bathroom is too small to use the sink area to get ready, you can barely fit. The shower is small too, but it's an old house so I get it. You could have a nice spot to sit outside and view the pond but the chairs are covered in mold and there are weeds everywhere. Like I said, some TLC outside would go a long way in the looks of the property. Overall we had a nice stay.
