Thank you Suzanne, we are so pleased you found the cabin to be comfortable and a good place for your getaway. The beauty that surrounds this alpine lake is quite memorable. I always enjoy the Eagles and Osprey but the sunsets are particularly fantastic as well. Cindy, we appreciate you and your friends and family. It is always nice working with you guys and we so so thankful to have you back each year. We do regret that firewood is such a challenge. FIre logs are a great option and we do encourage people to bring them for the inside evening fire. Luckily there is a normal furnace but it is really nice to have a fire. The owner is adding a propane firepit on a covered outdoor living space that they just created this year, so I think that will be a really nice addition for guests this year. Thank you again for coming to enjoy the cabins and the wonderful Fish Lake area.

Unfortunately, the deck off the back of the house had been completely ripped off due to extreme ice dam damage in February. You were our firsts guests back into the cabin after a long span of waiting for ice/snow to melt so we could get the cabin back up and running. The items you mentioned were indeed all part of the repairs/replacements that were/are being addressed. The repairs/replacements will all be in place by end of May 2017. So glad you enjoyed your visit the otherwise and just want to thank you as well for being so candid and understanding. Hope to have you back. Best, Jeanie
