This comfortable ground level 2-story beachfront retreat comes with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large screened porch and deck area to enjoy the views and to take it all in, from the sunsets glistening on the water to the sea breeze and the sounds of nature around you. The area is sparsely populated and is ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation. Come enjoy what beachfront living is all about. Bald Point State Park is just a few minutes away!

This home is being managed by Rent with Integrity Property Management, and we are located at 2851 Crawfordville Highway in Crawfordville, Florida . We will provide you with a number to call after hours if a need arises. We ask all of our guests to complete a pre-arrival form and sign a rental contract after booking. You will be sent a link to complete each of these quick items after booking.

Your booking cost will include a Waivo® Damage Waiver in lieu of a security deposit.

A great spot to walk the beach and see our spectacular Florida Panhandle sunsets! The fishing on the beach directly behind the house is great and in the cooler months you can catch mullet or shrimp by the pound cast netting! If you decide to surf fish, the local catch includes red fish, sea trout, Spanish mackerel, flounder - just to name a few!

Lockbox on front door, which is on the side of the home. Code will be provided 24 hours before check-in.

The home is located on Alligator Point on Florida's Forgotten Coast where the fishing is fabulous and wildlife is abundant. There is a bike trail behind the home for your biking enjoyment, and the area is full of opportunities for adventure, from kayaking, boating, canoeing, and fishing to enjoying the calm and perfectly peaceful setting that this area of beach has to offer!

This 3 BR/2 BA home comes with a bedroom and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bath upstairs with a cathedral ceiling to maximize the open space. This is the perfect home for a family vacation and a nice retreat to get away from it all! The French door in the living room opens to a large screen porch to enjoy the oceanfront environment and sea breeze while in the home. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and eating in the home and comes with a deep freezer to store the days catch!

Alligator Point does not have public transportation, but you're welcome to bring your golf cart!

Being right on the beach was excellent. The beach is very private because it is cutoff by houses.

Nothing improves mental health and pleasures in life than a wonderful relaxing stay on a real beach. No crowds just the waves, the sand and you. Add some great seafood and Heaven must be close by. Dolphin,deer and eagles top it off. The owner and staff are wonderful

“Lighthouse”

We have stayed here every year since 30-9 Wonderful place to stay. It’s quiet and the neighbors next door are local people. Fishing, walking on the beach and playing in the sand are great. Love being that close to the beach. We especially enjoy sitting on the screened in porch.

House and property were great. The only real problem was that the dishwasher did not work. I thought I had done something wrong after the first cycle and ran it again. Same result, the dishes weren’t clean. Send a message to the realty company (host) and they sent a plumber. He worked on the plumbing side of the unit and corrected a couple of issues but said the dishwasher needed replacing. For two days I messaged the host asking for an update and for the most part they didn’t answer at all. That is my biggest complaint. I know things break but I don’t like that they don’t answer my requests to be informed as to next steps. Found out the night before we left that they would be replacing the dishwasher after we left. Good news for the next guest but not for us. Again the real problem for us was lack of communication. A simple, we’re on it or an acknowledgment of my message would have gone a long way towards making the situation a bit more palatable.

Hi Paul, we are again sorry that the dishwasher was not working properly during your visit. Since you reported hot water was not reaching the dishwasher, we sent a plumber to assess within 2 hours of your report. The plumber told us that hot water was again returning to the dishwasher, and although you reported it wasn't working well, the owner is a contractor and wanted to come down and troubleshoot it himself before replacing. We are in a very rural area and there is actually not an appliance company that works on dishwashers in county, only replaces, so replacing is typically the only option unless you know how to fix it. There were only 2 days left in your stay and without more information, 2 days was needed to access, try and fix, and replace the dishwasher. While it's unfortunate it didn't work well, we cannot always instantly solve an appliance issue and need some time to assess and purchase and install the right item. You had already made it clear that you would be leaving the dishes for us to clean, so it didn't seem urgent to replace the dishwasher since we knew you were not doing the dishes. I didn't have an update to give you at the time because we were still working on figuring out what to do- whether to replace or try to fix. These issues are not always solvable in a day and since it wasn't an emergency appliance like an HVAC system, it was important for us to give the owner time to research if he wanted to fix or replace.

Cute little shack

This was a cute little place to stay in. If you are not looking for something fancy and spend most days on the beach and eat and sleep this is perfect. Overall place needs an update and has lots of potential. Even me and my husband thought about buying it due to it being for sale. It's size it perfect for a small family. We have 2 children 1 of each nothing luxurious but absolutely perfect location on the beach.

Recharging on the Point

This property checks the boxes for a great time on the beach. Plenty of room inside for those times you must be inside and lots of room on the outside! A screened porch for shade and protection from bugs. A very nice deck for enjoying the sun with a beautiful view of the beach from both! We have already booked next year!

Lighthouse Love

My partner and I are seniors coming here for several years. Right on beach for easy access, quiet area, house has all amenities needed allows pets and the rent is reasonable...I am sad to hear that it has been sold Hopefully it will still be rented reasonably and pet friendly. Love the porch and the neighbors. The rental manager at the realty co. in Crawfordville is exceptional and I thank her and our wonderful Lighthouse

Great location.

Great location. House and grounds need some tender loving care. Lounge chairs on back porch are not comfortable, needs replacing. Storm door is broken and hard to close. Screen porch room floor has rotten spots. East side of house needs to be cleaned up, observed board on ground with nails sticking out. Let people know there is no lounge chairs to carry to beach. Good bed, refrigerator, and stove. Air conditioning was good.
