Discover the beauty of this Platte River Retreat from this 4-bedroom lodge. This is not just a stay. . . this is an experience. You will have 160 acres to yourself. Experience the river, the trees, the trails, the serenity, and abundant nature. Nestled in a serene setting, this lovely property features 3 queen beds, 4 bunk beds, and 3 bathrooms with showers (one is a shower/tub combo). With amenities like WiFi, AC, four Samsung Smart TVs, and a full kitchen, guests can relax in two spacious living rooms. I am confident that this will be as clean a rental as you have ever experienced. This is a great location to get away from it all and enjoy birdwatching, abundant wildlife, and scenic sunrises or sunsets. Perfect for a secluded weekend get-away for a couple or a week's vacation for a family. Let the kids go play in the Platte River when the river is low in July and August. There are two miles of mowed trails to take you on a hike throughout the woods and to the river. These roads are also ATV/SUV/Truck friendly. A small pond is perfect for the kids to catch bass and bluegill (bring your fishing equipment!). This lodge is located by itself with the closest neighbor being a quarter mile away. We hope you enjoy what our place and the beautiful Platte River have to offer.

The communication with the host was wonderful. It is not often that homes accept pets which was a plus. There was a lot of outside space to explore and enjoy!

Lovely secluded cabin with all the amenities. Our boys enjoyed playing in the river and fishing in the pond. Morning coffee outside in the serene country environment was amazing. And cooking outside on the upscale grill was so easy. We saw beautiful sunsets and lots of wildlife. The deer were gorgeous. Definitely recommend this quiet clean lodge if you need a getaway.

Words cannot express how wonderful this place and its owners were when we stayed here for my brother's funeral. Peaceful, welcoming, beautiful, and positively just what we needed to make a time of sorrow much more bearable. We have stayed ay many VRBO's over the years and this was by far the best experience we have ever had. Thank you Chris and Jay for being such wonderful hosts. God truly blessed us when He led us to you.

This is an incredible property that you have to experience to truly appreciate. Chris was great! Extremely responsive to any question or need. If you are looking for a place for your next hunting or fishing excursion - this is it. Or if you want to unwind and relax - it's perfect! Can't wait to stay there again!

The property is gorgeous, and the house is great. Even though you’re out in the country, there are miles of trails to explore and lots of wildlife to watch. There wasn’t much water in the river when we visited but we still had fun playing frisbee and ladder ball on the sand bars. It was really rainy during our stay but there was plenty of comfortable seating inside too for watching movies and playing board games. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. We brought our dog and she had a blast smelling all the wildlife that had visited the yard overnight. Columbus is a reasonable drive away, so we went into town for supper one night and for ax throwing the next day. Jay and Chris are great hosts! They were very responsive when we had questions and very friendly to talk with.
