A charming and cozy cabin rental in Tafton, PA, nestled in a quiet cove on Simon’s Point. This idyllic lakeside cabin offers breathtaking panoramic views of the lake from the kitchen, family room, and semi-covered deck—ideal for soaking in the tranquility or enjoying a sunrise with your loved ones.
Step outside and unwind on the spacious deck, or sunbathe on your own private dock. Two kayaks are available for your use, plus plenty of room to dock a boat and to swim! Ample room to park multiple cars and a boat trailer at no extra fee. Dock availability in off-season subject to weather and lake elevation.
Inside, the cabin boasts a rustic yet inviting atmosphere with all the modern comforts. The newly renovated kitchen is open to the family room, which has a fireplace and plenty of seating options so that you can be comfortable eating, playing games, or just hanging out.
With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, this home comfortably sleeps 8 guests, making it perfect for family getaways.

Very easy to communicate with the host. Very responsive. House had a very rustic, lake feel. Would 10/10 rent again. View of the lake was fantastic.

Extremely responsive host! We enjoyed the sunset vibes and relaxing time on the lake. You feel nestled in the woods and are just a few minutes down the road from shops, restaurants and fantastic ice cream.

The Fox’s Den is an adorable cabin with a spectacular view and location. We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and fishing off the dock. Our two pups were very comfortable exploring the property and remained tick free which is remarkable considering being on the side of a mountain. We enjoyed the board games too! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with whatever you could need. We can’t wait to come back and wish we booked a longer stay. Great communication from the host. Five stars all around.

We had a great time with the family at the beautiful lake house. The host was very responsive when contacted. House was large enough for the six of us to enjoy. Linens and towels were included which helped. Having your own dock was nice. Views were fantastic! Saw an eagle on the property. Lots of wild life. Good lake location.

The main floor is well equipped and lovely. The view from the deck is gorgeous. The many steps down to the house and then down to the water, across large rocks, was problematic for seniors. Families with teenage children would have no trouble. Check in was easy and the host generous and delightful. The men fished and caught 2 delicious dinners. We had a great time.

Beautiful cabin!!! Right on lake. Very tastefully decorated. Plenty of seating for meals. Well equipped w/ games & puzzles. Very well stocked kitchen, dishes etc. Loved the special beautiful touch of white lights hanging from ceiling beams in family room.Walk from cabin to lake (floating dock), very rocky, hand rail only part of the way. Not ideal for elderly/those w/ mobility issues. Getting onto floating dock can be challenging w/ rockiness & no railing.Cabin was clean. Should have more attention to removing cob webs inside & especially outside ( front of & deck). All in all, had a great vacation, would recommend!

Such a beautiful home. Many ammenities. Host responds promptly and was so flexible and helpful; really could not have been more accommodating. Gorgeous location, home and host. Great find!
