If fishing is your thing, this place seems just the place for you. It's has guest passes to the lake. The bed was very comfortable. IMO, the kitchen needs better cookware.

Clean, cute and very comfortable house, big enough for our family of 4. The house is full of amenities including invidual toiletries kits! Jimmy stocked the house full with bottles water and yummy breakfast items. It was our pleasure getting to the owner whose was very easy with check in check out time and so generous with all the goodies! Loved the lake. We're be back!

Loved our stay. Very comfy place. Clean, roomy home in a nice little lake neighborhood. Outdoor seating with a grill overlooking a baseball field. Fire pit in back yard. Good cooking kitchen. Host is great! Very easy check in.

James was wonderful and answered all of my questions quickly. The place was very clean and well taken care of. He even left snacks and some amazing cupcakes, which was such a thoughtful touch! We truly loved staying here—it was very comfortable and made our trip even better. Highly recommend!

Great stay. Instructions clear, James was extremely responsive and friendly - even left an extension cord for us to use to charge our boat batteries.Towels/toiletries in the bathroom, snacks/water were provided - overall great stay and would definitely stay there again!

This is my go to spot when I work in Richmond. James is a great host and the house is always spotless and stocked with goodies and necessities. If this house is available when I travel there, I will always book before somewhere else. Neighborhood is quiet and convenient location for my work within good distance to food, groceries, and gas.

Adorable cottage-like home. Ive had good experiences with VRBO's, yet this was my best due to superior communication and the attention to detail of the host. We hope to return. Id rate it 12 of 10 stars!

James went out of his way to make sure the steps and sidewalk were free of ice during the ice storm. He made sure we were cozy and warm.

The home is clean and cozy and as advertised in a rural area but only 15 to 20 min from Richmond and tons of activities. Several wineries are much closer, grocery store 5 min away. What stood out the most to me though was the host! You will never find a more generous, gracious, accommodating host. Great with communication too. Overall a lovely experience

It was a last minute trip because my mom was put in hospice. I booked the night before and could only stay one night. The property owner gave me all of the info to get in and everything I had forgotten was there. It was a beautiful home and was a smooth process considering why I was there. It was so easy and beautiful that I was able to focus on why I was there. Thanks again!

Great place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. The house had everything we needed for our visit. James was easy and quick to communicate with and kindly left some treats for us as a welcome surprise. We appreciated the lake access and swim beach - a good way to cool off on a hot afternoon.
