It was very fun staying in a historical building. My room was very clean and comfortable and despite being warned that there could be noise from the restaurant/pub my stay was very quiet. Another huge draw for staying at the Opera House is that I was only 25 steps away from great food and really good beer. Chris was welcoming and very helpful!

My husband and I decided to make an impromptu next day trip to northern Maine in search of tall pines and togetherness as we celebrate 29 years of marriage. We didn’t spend much time looking for places to stay because Chris’ place offered all we needed and at an unbelievably affordable rate. We were able to enjoy some good food, great beer, excellent company with locals, and then retreat to our very clean room just steps away for a night of rest (THIS was everything). On a chilly fall night, the warm room was much appreciated! Check-in was effortless, and Chris is easy going, attentive, super nice, and accommodating, He has a great sense of humor too which is well-reflected within the physical and atmospheric environment of the establishment, Our only regret was in wishing we could have stayed another night. We would definitely return- THANK YOU!!!

so sorry couldn't find anything to right with .love what you did with my uncles place .Very nice peaceful time .Sorry its still a ghost town and pray you end up with all your hard work working out in the end. Bad hair day at Bible Point. thanks for making me want to come visit relatives!!!!

Definitely recommend staying in this little spot! For a couple, the space is perfect. It's in the front of a little pub which unfortunately wasn't open the days we were there but the owner offers room service and it was terrific. We had a pizza, a whiskey sour and an old fashioned-everything was very yummy! We are staying two nights. Super super communication and an overall 5 stars! Also lots of lakes and hiking in the near area.

The room at the Pub worked out so well for us! Chris was quick to reply and assist with our check in. The location was great for visiting our friends in Patten, and checking out Baxter State Park and Katadin. We dined in the Pub friday night (good eats!) and Chris gave us a tour of the theater. It's unique atmosphere added to the stay. Would definitely stay there again!
