The unit was clean, in an amazing location in Downtown Montreal, within a 15-minute walk of Old Montreal. There was some noise, but we expected this. The entryway is rundown, but the unit itself was clean. There were holes in the walls. There is a small fridge which met our needs. The patio was nice, but we were unaware that it was a shared space, as the description did not indicate that. There was very little bathroom counter space, again, we expected this. The interior could use some updating; the holes in the wall being fixed, the bathroom floor was not even in some spots. The AC was inside the unit, and it did not reach to cool down the bedroom. However, it was not overly hot in the unit as a whole.
There was a newer smart TV. Upon arrival, we were not given all of the entry codes, and we had no clear instructions from the owner until I called. We should have been given that info prior to arriving. 2 days into our stay, there had been an attempt to charge almost 600 on the card I had used to book the stay. I had emailed about this the week before and never heard back about it. This unit states that there is parking available. There are two spots in front of the unit that we were told are “rarely available,” which is accurate. There is one parking lot down the street, but because of a convention, the lot was full. We ended up using a paid parking lot 4 blocks away. Fortunately, you can leave your vehicle there indefinitely.
