Bright and nicely laid out, this remodeled 1-bedroom/ 1-bathroom bungalow is ideal for your Pasadena getaway. Less than two miles from Old Town Pasadena, the Rose Bowl, Brookside golf course, local boutiques, and eateries, you will be delighted with its location.
For those who enjoy a good hike, this unit is near some of the most beautiful hiking trails around. With the freeway only three minutes away, you can also get to Downtown Los Angeles in no time and enjoy Staples Center, Dodger Stadium, Universal Studios, or the famous Hollywood Blvd.

The Sycamore features a cozy living area with a sofa/futon, chair, Smart TV, ceiling fan, and a dining table to enjoy delicious meals or a good cup of coffee.

The functional kitchen, complete with a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and all the essential cookware and tableware, will make you feel right at home!

For your absolute comfort, the bedroom offers a peaceful decor, a queen-size bed, deluxe linens and pillows, a ceiling fan, and a mini-split.

The modern and bright bathroom, accessible via the bedroom, offers a tub/shower combination.

This home also has a private and fully-fenced patio area, outfitted with a table, chairs, and a BBQ grill. The ideal space to simply kick back, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.

Additionally, all your cutlery and tableware are stocked. Basic spices (sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil) are provided for your cooking needs.

PARKING: Free assigned driveway and paid overnight street parking. There is no garage access

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4 PM and check-out is any time before 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about pricing at the time of booking.

Great, easy stay

Very nice, newly renovated bungalow in a convenient location

Everything was newly renovated and very comfortable. We didn't hear any noise from neighbors or the street, except birds.The decor is stylish. Property management was very professional. Would definitely recommend!

It is true that the rates increase quite a bit for the holiday due to the property being walking distance to the Rose Parade Route and how close it is to the Rose Bowl Stadium. We will be sure to add new linens to ensure that they are soft and comfortable! We hope you have a chance to stay with us again in the future.

Immaculate well provisioned bungalow near CalTech

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Needed ready access to campus for reunion events; this lovely gem is the nicest we've stayed in (and we rent with HomeAway often). From the welcome wine (a nice cab), salsa, chips and cookies to the cottage cheese/strawberry topping single packs in the frig, they supply everything you need to get started. Bed is comfy, towels fluffy, shower pressure good. Would easily house family of four with living room futon. Excellent communication by Vacation Living. Highly recommend.

It was in a convenient location to all things Pasadena and as a single woman I felt safe there and appreciated the parking space. The manager was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations for local eateries. There was a bit of a learning curve with the television ( watched my iPad instead) and the air conditioning wall unit ( I’m not too mechanical!) but it all worked out.

Clean and comfortable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival there was a “snack box” with chips, salsa, cookies, coffee and wine provided, which I thought was a very nice touch. Having an access code instead of a key for the door was extremely convenient and less hassle than having to remember to take, and carry around, an additional key. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels which I really appreciated. I wish there was a TV in the bedroom but it really didn’t make that much of a difference for the few nights that we were there. Bottom line is, I would rent this apartment again.

Very Nice Bungalow!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Sycamore bungalow for 12 days. Overall, the stay was great. The location is perfect - only a few minutes from everything - groceries, restaurants, and easy access to the freeway. We had everything that we needed in the house - dishes, cookware, (silverware could be improved on), and washer/dryer. The neighborhood is quiet and we had no issues.My only complaint would be that the "couch" in the living room is a very uncomfortable futon. I know that it's an attempt to create another sleeping area, but maybe invest in a more comfortable mattress? I was recovering from surgery during my stay, so spent most of my time sitting there, and it was not at all comfortable!

Pasadena Apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed for two months.This cozy 1 bedroom apartment was near Garfield Heights, which is known for its charming bungalows. And close to shopping/dining districts as well as the center of town and Colorado Boulevard. The unit was cozy — living room and table for two dining area all combined. But it was immaculate and a nice basket of goodies was there on my arrival. The kitchen was also immaculate and well appointed with a coffee maker and toaster, and also had a good assortment of pots and pans, cutlery, glasses and plates, utensils. But there were no placemats or dish towels or scissors, so I bought my own.My only real quibble was with the heating system. During my two-month stay, the temperatures were in the high 30s and low 40s at night. There was only one HVAC unit in the apartment and it was in the bedroom. So the kitchen and living room/dining room and bathroom would get quite cold. The ceiling fan in the bedroom helped push some heat into the other rooms.

LOVED our stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed at the Pasadena Bungalow for 6 nights in May 2016. It most definitely met our 3C requirements: Clean, Comfortable, Convenient. The location is wonderful. 5-7 minutes to Gamble House, Norton Simon Museum & downtown Pasadena with all its great restaurants; 11 minutes to Huntington; 20 minutes (35 with traffic) to Universal Studios. There is a small supermarket and burger place within 3 blocks - an easy walk even for those who do not like walking. We loved the location - so close to everything we wanted to see. The bungalow was squeaky clean. The house book which explains where everything is and how to use it is very helpful. All the appliances worked well. The nice size TV with HD channels & DVD were great. Having a full size washer/dryer was super helpful. Toaster was wonderful - perfectly toasted bagels each time. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking/eating utensils, paper towels, dish soap, new sponge, cooking oil, spices, etc. Plenty of towels in the bathroom - we did not even use them all. I really liked being able to open windows for fresh air in each room, and the sheer curtains for privacy during the day and drapes for privacy at night are really nice. Plenty of storage place. The mattress was wonderful. We slept great all 6 nights. The only thing I did not care for was the height of the bed, which is the modern, high style. It's very stylish, but can be imposing to a 5'4" person. However, I got used to getting up and down it, and we enjoyed really good sleep on that wonderful mattress. The pass code lock was easy to use. We appreciated the lovely gift basket of goodies we found on our arrival. The manager responded very quickly to the one question we had after our arrival. Overall, we were VERY happy with everything and plan to stay here again on our next trip to Pasadena. We really enjoyed our trip and our stay at this bungalow.

Charming Bungalow!

Full size stove for cooking, all the pots, pans and cooking utensils I needed to cook my meals at home. The bungalow is very close to Old Town and I found a great little bakery called Euro Pane I loved to go for a morning coffee. If you want a convenient, comfortable place to stay, this bungalow is a great choice. I highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

I truly loved my stay there. It is exactly as advertised. The location cannot be beat with regards to being close to everything in Pasadena. The bungalow is clean and well maintained. It was perfect for what I needed. The hosts were very attentive to anything I needed, and accommodated my continuous stay extensions due to my house not closing on time.

Wonderful Bungalow So Close to Old Town!

My first impression was appreciation for how clean and fresh the bungalow was, with a lovely gift basket full of goodies. A full kitchen, laundry, private outdoor seating area, good light and a strong wifi signal, I enjoyed my time in the Pasadena area. Great for a couple or family with a small kid, I was happy to have found this spot and will definitely stay again!

Quaint and clean home away from home!

We stayed in this cute little bungalow for two weeks while our house was being renovated. It was the perfect home away from home! The things I enjoyed most were: 1) Clean! Clean! Clean! The place was spotless and well appointed with everything you may need (soap, towels, etc). 2) Location! Was fabulous for us as we were trying to stay as local as possible as my kids still needed to get to school! The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. 3) Parking was super easy. There is a designated spot in the parking area next to the bungalow and plenty of street parking available as well. 4) Prompt and courteous communication with Kathleen & Kate. Check-in was very easy with a key code. 5) Private laundry room with full sized washer and dryer! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Pasadena area! :-)

Wonderful Place to Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cozy house had absolutely everything you might need, from a complete kitchen with a dishwasher to a separate laundry room! I was inbetween houses and stayed for 28 nights. I brought a lot of stuff with me including 1/2 of my office! There was a place for everything. It is very clean and Kate was really great to work with. Also, close to so many things. I hightly recommend!

Very nice Pasadena residence

It was located near the places I wanted to visit, in a fairly nice neighborhood.

Cute Pasadena cottage

Excellent rental in Pasadena

The apartment was clean and well stocked and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends. The location is also excellent - very close to everything we wanted to do.
