About Us

My wife and I lived in Lake Tahoe, California, for 35 years, where we raised our two children, who have since gone off to college and started lives of their own.

We loved the mountain lifestyle and spent our years skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, dirt biking, camping, boating, and enjoying everything the Sierra Nevada had to offer.

After so many years in the mountains, we decided it was time for a change of scenery. We’ve been visiting the East Cape of Baja for many years and fell in love with its beautiful beaches, laid-back lifestyle, and incredible natural surroundings.

We’ve now made the move here full-time and are enjoying a new chapter of life filled with **surfing, fishing, beach days, and exploring everything Baja has to offer**.

We’re excited to share this special part of Baja with our guests and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why We Chose This Neighborhood

Our favorite beach has always been Playa El Cordon, also known as Shipwrecks, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found this beautiful piece of property overlooking it.

The beaches along this stretch of the East Cape are, in our opinion, some of the most beautiful in the world. White sand, warm turquoise-blue water, stunning desert and mountain scenery, and uncrowded waves make this coastline truly special.

We fell in love with the area because it offers the perfect combination of natural beauty, privacy, and an authentic Baja beach experience. It’s peaceful and remote, yet still close enough to enjoy the restaurants, activities, and amenities of the surrounding area.

Outside, the lower-level patio is designed for relaxing and entertaining, with a six-burner BBQ, swimming pool, comfortable lounge chairs, and umbrellas. Upstairs, the spacious terrace offers spectacular ocean, desert, and mountain views—the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, watch the sunset, or simply take in the peaceful surroundings.

Each bedroom has its own private full bathroom, plus an additional half bath on the lower floor.

The entire property is fully landscaped and fenced, with a secure double gate at the driveway entrance. Despite the peaceful, remote feel of the property, you’re conveniently located just a few minutes from La Fortuna, where you’ll find excellent oceanfront restaurants and bars.

The home is approximately 20 minutes from San José del Cabo and is easily accessed from the main paved road via a short drive along the coastal dirt road.
