Buffy's place is a wonderful place to stay for a couple or a family. Great communication before and during our stay. Quiet neighborhood centrally located. Wonderful interior style and comfortable furniture and beds. The pool and hot tub are wonderful and the back yard is private and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and will book again for our next trip for sure.

My family loved this property! The house was conveniently located between both the beach and Universal Studios. The entire property was clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub which were very clean and relaxing. We were also happy to have parking in the driveway. Each room was decorated uniquely with TVs in several of the rooms. There were six of us staying there and it was the perfect size as we were all able to enjoy meals at the large dining table. With 2 1/2 bathrooms it was perfect for our larger family. We will definitely be booking again!

I’ve spoken to this guest as they were unaware that 4 stars in the short term rental industry means that there were many issues with the host and/or home. The guest agreed that there were not and reported to have a nice time.

The house was clean and comfortable, and “as advertised” in the listing. Our host was easy to reach, helpful in getting us acclimated, and accommodating. After long days exploring LA, it was lovely coming home to the hot tub and pool!

We highly recommend staying here. The house is beautiful and clean, as are the pool, hot tub and grounds. House has all kinds of extra amenities (games, cooking supplies). Check inn/out was a breeze and Buffy was an excellent host. Very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had. Location is great, close to many attractions in LA. Would love to stay their again. Our kids ranked this VRBO house in their top list of things we did in LA and the competition was Universal Studios, Venice Beach, Santa Monic Pier, etc so obviously very kid friendly house.

One of the best trips of our lives! Such a great house. The bedding was so soft and the pillows were fluffy. Ample towels, amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry, sunscreen, lotion, and tons of chargers for all our devices). The host was spectacular; excellent communication and she made sure we had everything we needed. We had so much fun. After busy days full of once in a lifetime adventures, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars felt heavenly. The location was close to the freeway and we found some great places to eat nearby. Highly recommend the property and hope to stay there again in the future.

Buffy was a wonderful host and her home was perfect. We had a little technology glitch in the beginning and Buffy was responsive, kind, and willing to help in anyway possible. The home itself was spacious enough for the 6 of us. The 4 boys loooooved the pool and hot tub. Thank you for making the first leg of vacation so great!

We stayed 3 nights. The property owner, Buffy, kept in touch with us to ensure we had all we needed. She was available before we were scheduled to check in until after checkout. We had full run of the house, pool, etc.

Mother and son trip success

We stayed at this house for our first mothers and sons trip to Universal Studios, and it was a success!! Three 8 year old boys jumped straight into the pool as soon as we arrived. The pool was chilly, but no problems for 8 year olds! The hot tub jets warmed the water for respite. Our van just barely fit the driveway, and that was all we needed. The house felt like a home and we were all very comfortable. We used the kitchen to store our food and bake pizza. The shower water heater was quick and there were no issues. Beds firm yet comfortable and you can tell the home decor was curated with purpose. Such easy access and our host, Buffy, could have easily been one of our friends. She was very communicative and when VRBO chat was glitching, she reached out to me through text messaging to make sure everything was going well. We were only 20 min from Universal Studios and 40 min from LAX. Thank you, Buffy for your lovely home!

I like to start off by saying how wonderful the communication between the host was. She made the arrival stress free. The property is very clean and cozy. We were a family of 5 adults and 3 young children. It suited us well. The house is exactly like the pictures show. The house is close enough to a Walmart grocery store to pick up necessities. The pool and spa were great use. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and pots and pans for cooking. We definitely had a memorable stay. I highly recommend this place. Not only was the stay pleasant but so was the host. Kudos to Buffy!

Our host responded very quickly to a concern when the hot tub didn’t heat up, but it got resolved and we enjoyed the lovely hot tub and pool area.

The property was much smaller in person than the images we saw on line. The neighborhood was in a socially economic poorer section of town. The home accommodates 8 people but there is not enough seating in the living room or outdoors for that many people. Beds were very comfortable, shower pressure was weak but the host was great with communication.

I am so sorry to hear that you had this experience. I will take the feedback and add to my profile that the home is only 1,600 sq ft. I do deny parties over 8 even when they want daytime guests as I do say my home just isn’t big enough for that. We do not use fish eye lenses for any photography on the property so there’s been no intention of making anything look bigger and only what the true size is. I’m not sure what is meant by a poorer side of town. It feels offensive to the neighborhood and culture to say as such. The neighborhood is predominantly Hispanic and the homes are $700k-$800k. There are parts of Los Angeles that are having challenging times. I’m not sure what is meant by your statement. As far as the guest count it was my understanding that you stayed with 4 people. My target demographic is families with children that go to Universal Studios. Families with children have been able to use the space and feel accommodated. Perhaps I can change my listing to host only 6 people. I wish I was addressed about the shower pressure so that I could make it right. I had no idea you were this disappointed with your stay. I’m saddened and shattered. This star rating will be so hard to come back from I fear I never will. 💔I’m not sure you meant to cause such harm to my business.

My property is one of the few to have both a hot tub and pool in this area. I enjoyed designing my place with modern does vintage and also vintage favorites. I think designing with color, luxurious fabrics to include velvet make my home cozy, whimsical and welcoming.
