Quiet, Cozy Guesthouse in a wooded area 3 miles south of town on the golf course. walking distance to golf course clubhouse. Parking directly in front of guesthouse. the guesthouse has a functional kitchen to prepare small meals. Gas fireplace for backup heat. Heat pump heating/air conditioning. full refrigerator. Very comfortable memory foam mattress. We include shampoos, soaps, coffee, and an assorted verity of fruit/ munchies. we will do our best to make sure you have everything you might need. Great property for evening and morning strolls around golf course.

We had an excellent stay at the Golf Course Guesthouse! The location was an easy drive from Friday Harbor, and quick access to the rest of the sights on the Island. Will definitely plan to stay here again!

Great stay again

My husband and I had another great stay at the cottage. Highly recommend. Great location not far from town. Always so clean and welcoming! See you in a couple years.

Good place to stay

The house was clean. It was well stocked. There is almost no yard and not really any kind of view but if you are just sleeping there it is good.

Peaceful Retreat

We had such a relaxing long weekend! A cozy studio with everything we needed! The host was easy to get a hold of and was so accomodating. The place looked just like the pictures and we would definitely come back!

Lovely getaway

The cabin is really great! Cute, private-ish, out of town- which is what we wanted- and everything is well thought out and laid out. We felt very safe, we liked the price and the advertising is true. Owners thought of everything! One constructive criticism (and I’m stretching because we truly had an EXCELLENT stay): when we were in town, several people seemed to know we were the people “staying out at the golf course cabin” which was interesting to say the least as we hadn’t yet met our hosts at that time.

Comfortable two day retreat

Well equipped property, clean and practical. Ideal location for exploration of island. Suggestions-indoor doormat to avoid taking pine needles inside, solar lights in driveway would be helpful, less bolstered pillows! Overall very good!

Quiet and relaxing, off the main roads.

The owner was very friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. He offered to take me shrimping one of the days, but it didn't work out due to unforeseen things that came up. Please note, the following are not criticisms, merely observations.... The description of the property on the web site stated, "one bedroom" and stated that the kitchen has an "oven." The house is more of a studio apartment with no separate bedroom. The oven mentioned was a toaster oven. These didn't make any difference to us, but may be issues for others. Over all, we had a very enjoyable experience!

Lovely little cottage. Far enough away from town.. but close enough you can be in town in moments. Provides a great base from which to see all of the island parks.

Wifes birthday weekend

Excellent property, nicely located right outside froday harbor, far enough to where you dont get cars driving by, but close enough that if you forget to buy something its a quick drive. Hosts were very easy to get a hold of and flexible. Room is perfect size for a weekend trip and everything was top notch.

We saw three foxes nearby and deer. It was quiet and secluded. Just wished we could have checked in a little early at 2pm since it was a long drive the ferry ride. The gigantic spider in the shower startled me and the foam mattress was uncomfortably hot in July.

Perfect Island Getaway

Fantastic stay!

John was great and very communicative and check in was so easy! Bed was extremely comfortable. Host was kind enough to leave tea and coffee as well as water in the fridge. There was also shampoo/conditioner supplied in the bathroom. Just as a heads up for those of you who aren’t used to 430 AM sunrises or are sensitive to light maybe bring a sleep mask. Overall stay was great and if was in the San Juan Islands I would not hesitate to stay again! Thank you for a wonderful stay. :)

Charming and cozy

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in this wonderful guesthouse. It was well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches. The hosts were very nice and helpful. It was perfect for us.
