What a superb location, so peaceful and an abundance of wildlife! Visits from the pine martin, badger and numerous birds. Great hosts, very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Within easy reach of Skye and lots of places to visit. Nearby Glenelg Inn the highlight for food and entertainment.

Really nice house. Clean and great communication from the owner. Lots of wildlife seen from the house over the loch - porpoises, dolphins and seals

Wow, this really was a stunning location and we absolutely loved the house too!The beds were all extremely comfortable with lovely bedding and the house was spacious and really well furnished. We had such a special week here with our teenage boys, exploring the area, pony-trekking just down the road and swimming in the (cold but beautiful!) loch right outside our door!We all loved putting the provided nuts and seeds out for the birds, badgers and pine martens each day and seeing all the abundant wildlife in the area.The brochs and brewery café at Glenelg were a highlight too and the beautiful drive over to Plockton and Plockton itself.The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming with some treats laid out on the table when we arrived and great communication throughout.We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again. Thank you so much!

Beautiful cottage and stunning location

We absolutely loved staying here for a week and it was just not long enough. Can’t wait to book and stay here again hopefully very soon!

This is a wonderful property, very family friendly in a beautiful setting. Paula is a wonderful host and not only had nice things waiting for us when we arrived, but she also was accommodating in heavy snowfall. We are absolutely going to come back to this charming, beautiful, cottage in a gorgeous part of the highlands. What a gem!

Lovely cottage with fantastic views from the cottage and wildlife on the doorstep.

Very comfortable house with everything we needed and wildlife in the garden and the loch. Owners were super friendly

The most beautiful peaceful setting with amazing views and wildlife all around. Excellent communication from the hosts. The cottage itself was nice and clean, a little bit of a quirky layout but to be expected for a 100 year old property.

Beautiful Location

Nice holiday in this older style property on the loch shore. Easy access to hillwalking and only a short drive to beautiful Plockton and across to Skye. Parking was easy right at the front door.

Stunning Location!

We were absolutely delighted when we arrived at the cottage. It delivered on wildlife and peace and quiet. The views were absolutely beautiful; we had a great week .

A peaceful haven

A perfect place for a few days of peace, wildlife and ever changing loch views. The cottage was very spacious, warm and comfortable and we enjoyed the special welcoming touches provided by the owners. A great location for walks and drives in the surrounding spectacular scenery.

Family holiday

Lovely location for a holiday with direct access to the the loch with our paddleboards and kayak and storage for the bikes. we had a fantastic week and Paula and Rob are excellent hosts

The house is beautifully situated with a fantastic view. The five of us spent a wonderful week here. For a walk with our dog we either took the very quiet street or the approximately 1.5-hour circular path through the forest above the house. Communication with the very friendly hosts, Paula and Rob, was also excellent. We would love to return.

Lovely stay over christmas and new year. Great location and plenty of quiet walks with our dog.Hosts went above and beyond even putting up a christmas tree for our stay and providing welcome gifts. Great places to visit nearby and lovely walks with great views we would highly recommend anyone to visit .

Lovely spot

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice and cozy. Perfect for us and the dogs. So great to have Pine Martins, a Badger and a vast array of birds outside the kitchen window. My eldest son loved sitting out the front on the bench next to the Loch gazing at the stars. Great stay.

Perfect location for a peaceful break

Beautiful location on the shores of Loch Duich. Numerous places a short distance away to visit or go hillwalking, paddleboarding etc. Isle of Skye accessible in around 30 minutes. Property was very peaceful, comfortable and well equipped with a fantastic array of flora and fauna on our doorstep. Would thoroughly recommend.
