Independence Reservoir providing a serene water view. Enjoy the vast Van Cortland Park with its golf course and open fields. Honestly the stay was amazing beautiful place. Great for runners or walkers around the reservoir. Subway isn’t that far off and great eat spots around. I don’t know if it was just me but when I first clicked on the listing it said it was near 170 street for some reason maybe I messed it up but because of the great communication it was an easy fix. Thank you so much for the stay .

Great sunny spacious and clean apartment for us to stay in when visiting family nearby. The hosts were super responsive whenever we had questions, and made our stay super seamless. Would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town!

I had an amazing stay! Everything was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well put together. The host was extremely responsive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed from start to finish. The space felt welcoming and made my trip even better.I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely book again on my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable stay!

10/10 The only issue I noticed was it seemed linens were not clean or stained, no trash bags, and there were ants everywhere so we were bitten a little lol. Reached out and got a response very quickly with resolutions. I gave it a 10/10 because it was very spacious, beds so comfortable, clean spaces, safe neighborhood, left us a book with everything we may need to know, and they responded very fast to resolve any issues! Very kind and easy to communicate with!

What a great stay! The place was spotless and removed from the noise and busyness of the city, but just a 3-minute walk and red line trip away from everything. We could not have been happier.

Very clean and updated. Great location (walking distance to the 1 line). Loved it. Only downside was how tough it was to find street parking if you get back late.Will stay here again.

Healthy restaurant options was challenging nearby and commute to sight seeing would have been very expensive with Uber and very stressful with traffic and long commute times. However our trip was made primarily for a track meet at The Armory Track - commute and cost via Uber to this location was acceptable. Otherwise everything was great - nice to have full kitchen and 2 bedrooms, spacious and comfortable. Communication with host was great. Nice running path across the street and around the reservoir.

We had an awesome stay in the Bronx, I would definitely recommend staying here for a very nice comfortable apartment. The host was very helpful with checking and being responsive over text which we greatly appreciated

The apartment itself was very clean and nicely updated, but I'm writing the review I wish I would have had before booking. Our biggest issue was the noise. Even with all windows closed, the smaller bedroom is very noisy. Throughout the night we could hear a steady stream of cars, motorcycles, and trucks. We could also hear footsteps from the unit above at various hours starting late at night. One evening, a loud argument on the street continued until around 2:00 a.m., making it very difficult to sleep.The surrounding area also wasn't what we expected. It felt noticeably more worn than the listing suggested, with a fair amount of street activity that made us less comfortable walking around in the evenings. Travelers looking for a quiet or more polished neighborhood may want to keep this in mind.Most of the places we visited in Manhattan were about an hour away by subway, so the daily commute also added up. While the apartment itself was well maintained, the combination of the nighttime noise, the surrounding area, and the commute made it feel overpriced for the overall experience. It simply wasn't a good value for us, and we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Family Stay

The check in process was efficient. Dr. Eche accommodated us with an early check in due to our arrival time. The unit was well stocked with the essentials. Convenient location to the bus line and train station. Host responded in a timely manner to our questions which we appreciated.

This rental was updated, roomy, comfortable and immaculately clean. Staying here increased the breadth of our NYC experience. I very much appreciated that there was a bus line that would take us directly from Manhattan to a stop just a few houses away from the rental. Extra kudos to the rental manager who made a late night drop off a needed item within a short time of being contacted.
