Idyllic air-conditioned apartment with private garden, by the sea

This delightful, air-conditioned, modern, quiet garden flat is in the historic heart of San Terenzo, 150 meters from the sandy beach, on a pedestrian street. Made up of 3 main areas: a fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine) eat in kitchen leading, through a stone arch, to the evening area, with double bed and sofa bed in the Sitting Room Area. Which opens onto a beautiful Italian garden with lemon and quince trees, perfect for evening meals in the summer, with a dining table and barbecue as well as an outdoor shower.

The shower room is tiled in Bisazza Tiles and has a local slate basin top.

The third area is a separate bedroom, accessed through the garden, with a double bed and wardrobe. There is also a second toilet that can be accessed from the garden.

San Terenzo offers a great array of restaurants, stores and markets. The food is classic Mediterranean, with excellent local sea food caught daily. I will provide you with a location document, with recommendations for places to eat and visit.

There's satellite and smart TV, and an independent heating system (even though temperatures in the apartment rarely fall below 14 C degrees even in winter).

Returned for another pleasant seaside holiday

We have been visiting San Terenzo for many years, always staying in the same apartment. It's well equipped, clean, and the layout of accommodation suits our family and guests with whom we travel. Location is excellent, just a few paces from the beach and a pleasant stroll around the bay to Lerici. Frequent bus connections to La Spezia and Sarzana.

Cool, comfortable apartment. Improvements recently made, new double bed, sofabed and lights. So close to the sea and restaurants. Great property manager, very helpful and communicative.

Ok. Not great, but ok

Its basic. Nice location, but quite small, very hot At night, not really that comfortable. Beds quite hard, kitchen pretty basic. Would stay there again to be honest.

Die Wohnung ist super zentral und in bester Lage. man kann alles schnell und unkompliziert ohne Auto erreichen, was den Urlaub wesentlich entspannter macht. Auf jedenfall sehr zu empfehlen!

Heerlijk ruim koel huisjeInchecken ging heel vlot en onze dame Giulia, heeft ons heel goed geholpen en alles goed uitgelegd. Super locatie dichtbij het strand en goede restaurants en dat allemaal in een straatje.Mooie tuin met grote tafel en 6 stoelen, parasol, 2 lig bedden en stoelen.Een extra toilet en douche is buiten is ook erg handig voor als je met meerdere bent.Echt top locatie , ook om tripjes in de omgeving te maken Vervoer: bus rijdt regelmatig en met de auto ook goed te doen Auto parkeren kan op parkeerplaats op 5 min lopen van het appartement

mehr Italien geht nicht

die etwas in die Jahre gekommene Wohnung liegt in einer traumhaften Altstadtgasse. Das ist Italien pur! Direkt gegenüber der Wohnung befindet sich eines der besten Restaurants des Städtchens. Dennoch dringt sehr sehr wenig Lärm in die Wohnung! Es sind rund 2 Gehminuten zum (in der Hauptsaison überfüllten) Strand. Jedoch gibt es unweit alternative Strände (bezahlte und unbezahlte). Ein Fischgeschäft und unzählige Bäcker und Bars in denen sich ein Kaffee geniessen lässt um den Tag entspaant zu beginnen. Parken muss man auf einem der beiden öffentlichen gebührenpflichtigen Parkplätze (Wochenticket 50€). ACHTUNG: es wird streng kontrolliert!!! Die Parkplätze liegen ca 5 und 8 Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt, aber das macht die gute Lage der Wohnung 10 Mal wett. Tagesausflüge nach Pisa, Lucca und Florenz sind mit 1 bzw. 1,5 Stunden Fahrtzeit mit dem Auto sehr gut möglich. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in San Terenzo sehr genossen. Gerne wieder einmal!

Sehr schöne Wohnung in fantastischer Lage

Die Wohnung liegt in einer Gasse in San Terenzo ca. 3 Gehminuten vom Stand entfernt. Die Lage ist ruhig, dennoch zentral mit vielen Restaurants in der Nähe. San Terenzo ist auf angenehme Art kleiner als die Nachbarorte und hat trotzdem alles, was man braucht. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und hat einen Garten, in dem man entspannt faulenzen kann. Die Räume sind bei Bedarf klimatisiert. Wir waren zu fünft (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) und das ging sehr gut. Die Nachbarorte (La Spezia und Lerici) sind gut via Bus erreichbar (für Fahrkarten am besten die App DropTicket nutzen), von dort gehen Züge und Fähren. Nach Lerici kann man aber auch entspannt laufen (ca. 20 Minuten). Wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, muss man etwas außerhalb parken, aber das ist nicht schlimm. Aber schön auf die Parkgebühr achten, die Kolleg*innen vor Ort sind auf Zack und gucken auch Am Sonntagmorgen, das habe ich am eigenen Leib erfahren ;) Insgesamt eine tolle Wohnung in einem wirklich schönen Ort.

Italienisches Flair direkt vor der Haustür

Die Wohnung liegt in einer kleinen italienischen Gasse, 3 Minuten Fußweg vom Meer entfernt. Ein idealer Ort um entspannt Urlaub zu machen, da alles fußläufig im Nu erreichbar ist. Den kleinen lauschigen Garten haben wir gerne zum frühstücken genutzt. Die Kinder konnten selbstständig zum Strand gehen. Es fahren viele Busse, man braucht nicht zwingend ein Auto (zumal die Parksituation schwierig ist).

Bell'appartamento a pochi passi dal mare

Appartamento di dimensione ideale per una famiglia di 3-4 persone con l'aggiunta di una camera da letto matrimoniale separata e di un giardino interno molto ben curato. Note negative: bagno interno senza finestra (con ventola) e generale umidità della casa . A 3 min a piedi dal mare.

Tranquilla e comoda

La casa si è presentata comoda e funzionale! In un vicolo in cui l’assenza delle auto garantisce il silenzio ma a due minuti dalla spiaggia, dal lungomare e dai negozi! Il giardino un gioiello che abbiamo sfruttato per i pasti ed il relax! L’unico aspetto negativo della vacanza la spiaggia troppo piccola ed affollata

This is nice and modern apartment right in the middle of the village of San Terenzo, very Close to the beach. We also really appreciated the Little garden where it was nice to relax in the afternoon.

Nice, comfortable apartment with a small, but lovely garden.

We are so glad we stayed in San Terranzo instead of the Cinque Terra which is incredibly commercial and crowded. Instead, we were in a small town with friendly people and delightful restaurants. With a 20 minute walk you can get to the ferry which will take you on a beautiful trip to the other towns. This is the area that the English poets, Shelley and Byron chose to stay and there is a small park named after Shelley in town.

Strandnahe Lage und der kleine Gärten sind perfekt

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Schade nur nicht sehr gut gepflegt... Trotzdem eine erholsame Woche verbracht auch wenn es mit der Parkerei etwas nervig war. Es ist wirklich nur ein Katzensprung zum Strand, zu Läden und Lokalen.

A Great Place and a Great Location

This property was exactly as described and just steps away from great beaches in San Terenzo. It was very clean and equipped with high quality furniture and appliances and kitchen ware. Monia, the manager, was extremely helpful and responded very quickly and effectively to all of our requests. It is further from the Cinque Terre villages than we expected and taking the 30 minute ferry ride to them is quite expensive, especially for us Canadians. However we did find a much cheaper alternative by taking the bus to La Spezia and then the train to Cinque Terre.

Pleasant apartment in the lovely village of San Terenzo only yards from the sea.

This modern apartment was well furnished and with a very comfortable bed, only yards from the sea and local bars and restaurants but in a delightful small Italian town. Very little English spoken but locals very eager to help. The larger and more touristy town of Lerici only 3k scenic seafront walk away where boats leave for the Cinque Terre on a regular basis. Buses to La Spezia run frequently as they do in the other direction to Sazana. A small enclosed garden comes with the apartment, furnished with new loungers, table and chairs. The apartment manager Monia speaks English and is very helpful.

Perfect location

Perfect location! Perfect holiday town, with sandy beach, warm water, very few foreign tourists, no overcrowding like Cinque Terre. The apartment is modern and well equipped. The lovely, big garden is unfortunately mosquito infested, so out of bounds.

Location could not have been better

This great ground floor apartment was perfect for our family holiday, it was more spacious than the photos suggested, and stayed nice and cool on the midday heat. Under a minute to the beach, great coffee shops and restaurants. San Terenzo is a great location for exploring the Cinque Terra, we even managed a day trip on the train to Florence. I hope we can return someday. Thank you Laurence.

A wonderful slice of life in Italy

I have just returned from a wonderful week here with my 21-year-old daughter. This beautiful apartment is very well equipped and comfortable and we found it remained cool both during the day and at night. Although we ate out a great deal at the excellent local restaurants it was convenient to have a kitchen with decent pans, knives etc to cook the odd meal "at home" and eat at the table in the garden which provides ample shade as well as sun. At night the apartment was very quiet which I appreciated greatly being a light sleeper. We travelled without a car but were able to use the apartment as a base to visit other parts of Liguria such as the Cinque Terre and Tellaro by local bus and ferry - when we were able to tear ourselves away from San Terenzo, that is. The town is a very special place with a pretty local beach that is also excellent for swimming. As well as dining out we enjoyed going out for breakfast or aperitivi in the local bars and found people very friendly. The owner was helpful in correspondence ahead of the stay and provided extensive information prior to our arrival. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner's father who had that rare combination of being both welcoming and unintrusive, providing us with helpful local info. All in all a wonderful stay and we would gladly return.

An excellent apartment

The flat in San Terenzo is very much as described - in a perfect location, with everything you could need just a stones throw away. It is very well equipped and we very much enjoyed the outdoor shower and the garden. The beach is a little crowded for my taste but you can nip out for a swim and back in no time. An added bonus was the delightful company of the owner's parents who could not have been kinder. We took several outings by bus and boat and discovered that La Spezia is suprisingly nice and has great food ( sadly we found the local places to be less enjoyable ). All told a great place to stay though.

This apartment is very special to me (and almost everyone else who visits). The private garden is rare given that the apartment is in the historic centre of San Terenzo. The location is superb: a quiet, pedestrian street (in terms of peace, much better than being on the Seafront), local shops, supermarkets, 15 restaurants and bars, 4 coffee shops all within 5 minutes' walk. And the beach is just 90 seconds' away. Also, as a spot to visit the Cinque Terre, it's perfect: you can get to the Cinque Terre by boat, by car or bus/train, and you avoid staying in the maelstrom that can be the Cinque Terre.
