This house is an amazing historical home that has been modernized beautifully. It is a very quiet getaway in the country. The host was amazing and very accommodating. Recommend to travelers who enjoy historical homes out in the country.

What a great house. The combination of history and modern convenience rolled into a beautiful getaway home. It was really a neat place to spend a weekend. Just staying in a place that’s 145 years old was really neat. Also very comfortable beds. Slept all night and felt great each morning. 10/10!

This place is wonderful. It’s a beautifully restored home that is over 100 years old that is still owned by the same family. The history is all spelled out. It is very charming and peaceful. It is situated in the middle of farmland and right now at 7:30 am I am listening to the birds and sitting by the fire pit drinking my coffee. A hidden gem! Thank you Marcia for sharing your home.

The property is incredible. The pictures do not do this place justice. The location was perfect for us. We were here for a work trip. It was a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day. We loved the kitchen and outdoor space. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive.

Picturesque and pieceful. What a treat to come back to every night after seeing the local sights. If you love old homes, this is the spot for you. To learn a bit of the family and property history? Icing on the cake.

The Gridley House is gorgeous! It is exactly as pictured and a pleasure to stay in. Everything was wonderful! The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious and clean, the kitchen has everything needed for cooking, and the outdoor patio and balcony are perfect for morning coffee and tea. The atmosphere is comforting and the surroundings are picturesque. You will not find another house or property in the area quite like this one. This estate has it all! History, beauty, spacious...truly one of a kind!Marcia is very friendly and helpful. If there is an issue she will take care of it as soon as possible. Her communication is wonderful! We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave. We will be coming back soon!
