Hello and welcome! We’re Vickie and Lou, and we’re delighted to share a little about ourselves and why we love hosting guests in beautiful Bonaire.

We divide our time between Arizona and the Caribbean, and after visiting Bonaire many times, we completely fell in love with the island’s relaxed lifestyle, crystal-clear waters, friendly people, and year-round sunshine. What started as a favorite vacation destination quickly became a place we wanted to share with others through welcoming accommodations where guests can experience the island the way we do.

We enjoy traveling, exploring new destinations, meeting people from around the world, and spending time outdoors. Whether it’s snorkeling, watching a spectacular sunset, dining at local restaurants, enjoying the ocean breezes, or simply relaxing with friends and family, we appreciate the simple pleasures that make travel memorable.

Hosting has become one of our greatest joys. We genuinely love helping guests create unforgettable vacations and making sure they feel comfortable from the moment they book until the day they leave. Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped home base where you can enjoy your stay exactly the way you want.

We are always happy to share recommendations for restaurants, beaches, dive operators, boat excursions, scenic spots, grocery stores, and local events. We also work with trusted local contacts who can assist with services such as grocery pre-stocking, special occasion arrangements, and more.

Our greatest reward as hosts is hearing that guests felt at home and enjoyed Bonaire as much as we do. Many of our visitors return year after year, and some have become wonderful friends along the way.

After visiting Bonaire many times, we fell in love with the island’s relaxed lifestyle, crystal-clear waters, friendly people, and year-round sunshine. When it came time to purchase property, Hato stood out immediately. We loved its peaceful residential feel, convenient location, and proximity to some of Bonaire’s best diving, snorkeling, and waterfront restaurants. Hato offers the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility—close enough to enjoy everything the island has to offer, yet tucked away from the busier tourist areas.

One of the things we enjoy most about Hato is being able to walk or take a short drive to fantastic dining, waterfront sunsets, dive sites, and boat excursions. We also appreciate the neighborhood’s authentic island atmosphere and the warm sense of community that makes Bonaire so special.

What makes our properties stand out is the combination of location, comfort, and personal attention. We chose Bonaire’s Hato neighborhood because it offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Guests enjoy a peaceful setting while being just minutes from world-class diving, snorkeling, waterfront dining, grocery stores, and many of the island’s top attractions.

Each property is equipped with the comforts we look for when we travel ourselves, including fully stocked kitchens, comfortable furnishings, reliable Wi-Fi, spacious outdoor living areas, and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Unlike large resorts, our properties offer a more intimate and personal experience.
