Wonderful place to stay!! Amy was the best host. House is very clean, decorated so cute, and a great lay out for our family of 6. All amenities were great. The house is very close to beach areas and to downtown. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Gulfport!

This was an excellent stay!The proximity to the beach was a dream. The home was lovely, quaint, clean - simply adorable. The appliances and the A/C made for an extremely comfortable stay. The Green Egg was clean and ready for use!The hosts were quick to respond. They communicated clearly, promptly, and with true care. This was our best host experience and we intend on returning. My adult children stated, “This was a great find. I ’m happy here and want to come back.”

beautiful home! everything about the place was great. the only thing that i didn't care for was that the damage deposit was very high. I understand you get the money back after but the deposit was more than the trip itself. Other than that the house and host were wonderful! will likely return.

Excellent, clean and nice stay! Owner's emails were detailed and concise of arrival and departure procedures. I will definitely be book again! The area/neighborhood was nice and quiet.

The Shrimp Shack exceeded every expectation and was the perfect stay for us! It was such a pleasure to enjoy the comfort and relaxing experience with my pets and grandchildren. The home has been beautifully remodeled while to preserving the character and integrity of the original house, giving it so much charm. The patio was one of our favorite spots—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The fenced yard provide a privacy and safety. It was obvious that every detail of the property has been thoughtfully planned. We loved the way that the Green Egg was the star of patio!Being just across the road from the beach was a huge bonus. The neighborhood felt safe, quiet, and exceptionally well kept, which made it ideal for family walks and spending time outside. I would definitely stay here again and bring my favorite granddaughter!!! She may or may not be listening to me and jealous of missing out of our stay!

Great place and nice location

Great place to stay! The house was spacious, very nice, and super clean. I would definitely recommend it you can literally walk to the beach, and it’s close to everything.The only thing to note is that there’s no pull-in driveway, so you have to park on the street in front of the house. But that wasn’t a problem, as many people park there.Overall, an excellent place.

The property was very close to the beach - great location for beach access (walkable - about 1 block) and restaurants. Very close to attractions too, such as the aquarium. The house was incredibly clean and kitchen was well-stocked with cooking tools/pots/pans. The towels were new and good quality. They have street parking only which, at first, we were concerned about because we brought our golf cart but it turned out fine. There was plenty of space to park and it felt very safe. Perfect spot for our weekend trip.

The property was exactly as pictured. It was the perfect amount of space for our 5 travelers and had every thing we needed. Tropical Storm Arthur rolled through at the end of our stay and knocked the power out at the property. The owners were very communicative and willing to bring a generator over to plug in some fans or to refund our last night if we chose to leave early. They were very accommodating and we would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Gulfport.

We recently stayed 4 nights at the shrimp shack and were totally pleased with everything. The cottage is well appointed and was super clean. It is newly remodeled and equipped. Highly recommended .
