Camper was clean and had everything you needed..only thing I wish is there was shade to sit in to hot for me .. but thats just me Bob and Heather were great hosts we did enjoy our stay ..thanks

The location of the trailer is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the pelicans follow the commercial fishing boats into the harbor each morning. Of the three trailers on the property this cabin is the most isolated. There is plenty of space between each camper (three times that of a standard campground). We were surprised that the designated parking area was a little walk to the camper. Fortunately, we were able to get our extension cord to reach site #2 electrical outlets in order to charge our trolling motor while parked. The owners were very nice and responsive.

Very nice and quiet. Weather was our biggest problem. One thing that was creepy there were some spider stuck between the screen and window. They were outside so that was ok. They live there. Will keep this place in my places to stay. The directions were very helpful. Thank you for sharing your place.

Beautiful view of the islands

Stayed the weekend for some salmon fishing out of Fairport. Great option that is more secluded than the camping options located by the marinas that can be crowded, and you don't have to bring a thing other than your food.

Beautiful location & very clean RV. They stock the RV with everything you need. You really do just need your clothes & food. Beautiful place to kayak with hiking trails near by at the historic state park. The hosts were awesome too, we ask to borrow a tool to fix our kayak and they were super helpful & very nice. Highly recommend!

Great Camper Fairport Michigan

Had a great weekend stay at camper provided by the host in Fairport Michigan. Camper has been recently updated and all bedding appeared to be new. The camper also had all the utensils and kitchen supplies needed for a weekend or longer. Host also had provided some of the normal spices, coffee, paper towel, dish soap, etc that normally you may need to bring on your own. Outside had a grill, some camp chairs, and firepit. Highlight is the view of the islands and water 100ish feet outside the door of the stay. Tons of room for boat parking and plug within 50 feet of parking to charge overnight if in the area for salmon fishing like we were. Great option for the area and hosts are really friendly and accommodating.

We loved the trailer! It was so roomy and clean!! The stereo system and lights were fun. I like how organized everything was and easy to find. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there were games available. The only disappointment was the beach wasn't very nice. It was very mucky and didn't look like the picture. Maybe the water was lower than usual? Also, be aware that the trailer is in someone's backyard with another trailer. We didn't love the view of the old marina in the day but it was pretty at night If you're looking for a place to stay at the beach all day with a beautiful view, this might not be it. We used it as a place to stay while we visited local attractions and it was perfect. The lake was still beautiful to look at! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again!

You're right — water levels in the Great Lakes can vary with the season, which can change the appearance of the shoreline. Thanks for adding beautiful photos to your review! I’m sorry that you didn’t love the view of the “old marina”. It is my family’s 6th generation fishery and has been a highlight for nearly all of our guests. Our listing does state that the camper is located between our home and the fishery/marina. The camper is not in anyone’s backyard, but on a vacant lot along with one other camper, which is shown in a listing photo. We placed them strategically for privacy with woods on the backside and the lakeshore on the frontside. We will review our listing to ensure accuracy. We're happy to hear that the location worked well for your visit to local attractions, and that the lake was still a lovely sight to enjoy. We'd love to host you again in the future — and thanks again for staying with us!
