This property is away from the hussle and bussle of the busy town of Granbury and we liked it that way. The cabin in perfect and peaceful. Very clean and the beds were so comfortable. I had several questions leading up to my stay and they were answered by the host very quickly.

Restful and beautiful get-a-way! Amenities were plentiful, everything to make a relaxing stay! For us, the sofa bed was too soft for a good sleep. Everyone has preferences on mattresses however.

We had a wonderful stay at River View Ranch Retreat and would happily return. One of the highlights was how pet friendly the property is. Our pup was welcomed and had plenty of space to explore, walk, and enjoy the beautiful setting located on an inlet leading to Lake Granbury. The resort offers a peaceful atmosphere with stunning river views & well maintained grounds. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the dock, taking in the scenery & watching the wildlife. The location felt secluded and relaxing while being convenient to nearby attractions and activities. The staff was friendly & helpful throughout our stay. We left feeling refreshed & are hoping to make a return visit.

This was a room in a large event center and the foldout couch was unbearably uncomfortable, which wouldn’t have as bad, but the thermostat was set to 78 and locked. I understand they don’t want to cool the entire venue, but the upstairs room was entirely too hot. Some of the other guests woke us up at 2:30 am. Since the venue stays open, they decided to come play pool which is fine, but they decided to blast music and started whistling and yelling to echo in the big area. My guess is that they didn’t know we were up there, but our truck was parked right out front. Overall it was nice and clean and I would stay there to get ready with my girls for a wedding or event, but not sleep and I wouldn’t plan on a restful weekend.

Beautiful place to stay with a gorgeous lakeside deck. It was fun having a billiards table to play. The host is very kind and friendly. She was next door and greeted us and made sure we didn’t need anything. The one thing to keep in mind since I’m not sure it was mentioned in the listing is that the bed is a foldaway bed and the room or suite is not an actual bedroom but a bride/dressing suite. It is located in the second floor of an event venue where they host weddings and other events. Overall a wonderful experience and would stay again!
