Buffalo Ridge on Zion Boundary very close to the Park! Gated Community -Hot Tub

Along with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, this scenic mountain home is situated on a very private 1.5 acre lot. You will have an unobstructed view of sunrise through 2 story tall picture windows in the main room. Step outside onto the oversized deck and listen to the silence. From your deck, you will often see deer and other wild life passing within a few feet of the house. Take in the scents of sage carried by the breezes of this southern Utah high desert location. When the sun goes down, gather in the hot tub for a view of the night sky few have ever seen.

Please note, I have a NO PETS policy. This is to insure the cleanest possible preparation for your stay. I actually pay more for the cleaning and preparation than I charge you!

Enjoy the upscale furnishings in a western motif that includes genuine log beds in every room, native american indian artifacts, high-end leather furniture, animal hides on the floor, and artwork supporting the theme name of the house, 'Buffalo Ridge'.

Preparing meals will be a family affair with your fully equipped kitchen featuring high-end stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and 'great room' arrangement. Entertainment will be provided by a 65'" Smart TV.

A vacation at Buffalo Ridge is an experience you and your family will not soon forget. It is a vacation where you will truly be able to 'get away from it all'.

This clean, well-appointed home was just what our family of five needed for our vacation. It it basically has everything you could need. served as our home base to explore Zion (10-15 mins away), Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. We used Ponderosa Ranch (in the same gated community) one day to play, kayak, use the pool, and get dinner. I would definitely recommend this property to a single family or 2 small families. Tip: get groceries and such on your way in, due to stores being rather far away.

Wonderful place to stay near Zion and also Bryce. Well furnished. Hot tub under the stars was awesome. We watched deer and turkey from our window.

The house perfectly fit our needs. The property was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The house is not close to many large markets so some of the small things (extra paper towels, toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent and coffee filters) were well appreciated. Perfect location if you want to explore both Bryce and Zion.

Buffalo Ridge was the perfect home base for our family, for our trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. We loved the peace and quiet of staying outside of the busy town. The hot tub was the perfect ending to every day of hiking and adventuring. The property owner’s communication was excellent from the moment we booked, even taking the time to speak with me over the phone to answer my questions about Zion and the area. Truly this home was a key piece to making this a wonderful vacation for our family. We could not recommend it enough.

The house was perfect for our family and a great location for our visit to Zion. My grandchildren loved the amenities at the nearby Zion Ponderosa Resort as well.

We very much enjoyed our stay, wish we could’ve stayed longer. Very peaceful, enjoyed seeing the deer and jackrabbit every evening. Stars were amazing. We had everything needed but as we cooked in every night we could’ve used a few more sharper knives for chopping. Also thought it would be nicer to have more furniture by the fireplace like another chair or loveseat as we all couldn’t sit at the same time. But overall wonderful!

Perfect location for exploring!

Stayed here for about a week with four friends to check out Bryce, Zion, and Grand-Staircase Escalante. The location made everything very easy, and the house made a great home base.

Fun in Zion

My family and I came to the area to visit Zion National Park. This rental was perfect. Very comfortable, clean and owner was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Zion basecamp

Great place to launch your Zion ion adventures from. The associated resort is great for kids as well with the minigolf and pool-water slide. Would definitely come back.

Very cozy place

Great place, very comfortable and with good amenities. Our family of six members relaxed the afternoons after the Zion hikes. Beautiful star nights to enjoy with a glass of wine in the porch or in the spa.

Beautiful Utah Cabin

We stayed a week at this gorgeous cabin. It was very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very nice and the hot tub was enjoyed immensely after all of our hiking! John is an excellelnt host!

Lovely home, quiet location, close to Zion

The house was perfect for our needs. Linens and beds were nice. Very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Two washers and dryers made laundry a breeze.

Fantastic stay right outside Zion!

This beautiful home had everything we needed for our week-long trip around Zion, Bryce, and Horseshoe Bend. Hot tub was super clean and very relaxing after a long day of adventure. John was super responsive - fantastic host! Would highly recommend this home!

Nice home for big family

Owner was very helpful/available/friendly. Property is a bit away from Zion/Springdale but benefit is quiet environment. Overall a nice place.

My house affords my renters excellent access to Bryce and Kanab. There are terrific restaurants in Kanab that you can’t really access from Springdale.Springdale is about a 30 minute drive through Zion Canyon. I drive you will never get tired off.

At Buffalo Ridge, you can truly get away from it all. The peace and beauty of this location is without equal. From the house, you can walk into Zion. The Grand Canyon is a 2.5 hour drive, Bryce a 75 minute drive, many other, off the track, State Parks are also close.
Springdale has become VERY crowded as the popularity of Zion has increased. During the busy months, April thru October, the parking lot at the West/Springdale entrance becomes full. People are directed to park in town!!
The advantages of being on the East side are:
1. Avoiding the crowds in Springdale
2. Having easy access to drive to Springdale for dinner; a wonderful 30 minutes drive
through the park!
3. Having easy access to Kanab, another beautiful drive of 35 minutes in the opposite direction. Kanab has the best restaurant in the area.
4. Easy access to Bryce. It is only a 75 minute drive from the house.
5. Easy access to the off-trail hiking of the East/high desert side of the park where you can hike down any of the numerous washes. You can explore areas where few others go!!
