Great stay

We had a great stay. Beautiful home, lots of fun with pool table and game room. The beds were very comfortable with great linens. Perfect location near town and the ski hill.

Family- friendly, great location for skiing and visiting pubs, and shopping. The game room was the star of the vacation. Nightly pool competitions while listening to Christmas music! Watching the deer with a cup of hot tea in the morning and getting to see the snowfall was a highlight for all! The warm cozy fireplace was a great gathering spot for the entire family! Thank you to our hosts who made this vacation one to remember!

The space is very nicely designed and well appointed. Unfortunately, it has suffered from some deferred maintenance and subpar cleaning. The front door was broken so we were required to enter and exit through the basement level garage. The elevator was also broken so know that although it appears in photos it is not available. The “Gameroom” is actually the garage and has insufficient heat for maintaining room temperature during cold weather. There was only one parking space available due to the driveway configuration, and it requires some strategic maneuvering. Some high-use areas and components could utilize a deep cleansing. For example, the professional range hood was covered in grease and as a result the entire kitchen and family room had a very strong odor of fried foods. We cleaned it to reduce the odor. The stairway had spills on the steps and landings when we arrived. The master shower floor grout is dirty and all showers could use a deep cleansing. The master BR blind is broken so you can’t open it. The return air register is missing in one bedroom, with only a hole in the wall. A few other holes exist in the walls, with appearance of unfinished construction or repairs. There was a 400 pet fee that was not clearly stated in the listing. Overall, this could be a very cool place with some maintenance and cleaning. The location was convenient and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. A bit more transparency on the pet fee and the “Game room” would have been helpful.

Whitefish

It was a great weekend. A very fun house and super comfortable beds. We did not really cook because of our schedule, but it was fun for my husband and don to play a game of pool at the end of the day.
