My family has been coming to York for decades, and this is perhaps our favorite place we have ever stayed! You cannot beat the view, and location to the beach. The house has fantastic bedrooms, an amazing porch, and a great firepit to soak up the evenings. We'd love to return!

The perfect location, accommodations, and comfort. Great vacation spot if you love the ocean. The porch is where you’ll want to be. It’s amazing! We just loved it.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. You can’t beat the view and the quick walk to the beach! As another review noted, there was confusion over the parking spaces for the house, with a nearby neighbor claiming they owned two spots (we didn’t have an issue parking). We would definitely return!

Great location walking distance to short sands and shops. Amazing views from the porch and bedrooms. Rocking on the porch listening to the waves was as relaxing as life gets. There was some confusion on the parking as the house shares a lot with several other houses. Overall, a 10/10 York experience.

Very easy to communicate with everyone involved with rental. House is clean and well taken care of. AC great in all the upstairs rooms. Comfortable set up in dining room and living room.Kitchen is well appointed, outdoor grill easy to use and clean . Front porch setting is amazing. Easy Walk to the beach and wicked good ice cream too. We look forward to staying here next time.

This property was outstanding! The house itself was perfect, it had everything you could possibly need. Every room was a great size and the furniture was all new, not that we ever sat inside. We sat on the front porch in those covered comfy rocking chairs with a perfect view of the ocean as much as we could. It had a great location, we wished we started longer!!!

Location, location, location! We loved every minute of sitting on that porch watching the ocean. We had rented across the driveway last year and once I landed my eyes on this property I was determined to rent it this summer! Fireworks viewing right from the porch in the 4th. We had an issue with cars parked in our lower spots (never did find out who they were) and the manager was very responsive and allowed us to park up top. Had an issue with one toilet, and the maintenance man fixed it promptly and we had a nice chat while he did so. Highly recommend.

Kitchen had all necessary items and then someDishwasher greatporch and rockers great location amazing for kids AC in all sleeping areasoutdoor shower to help with sand. Could use a weeks worth of basic soaps and such.

We wish she was our Nana!

We had a wonderful week at Nana’s place, it could not have been better for July 4th. It’s obvious that a family has loved the house for many years, we had everything we needed for our group of 8 (2 families). The location is AMAZING, the pictures really do not do it justice. We will definitely be back next year!

Family Vacation

The property listed is what you will get. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you would need. Checkin and communication flawless. All bedrooms have air conditioners which help in warm weather. First floor requires windows/door open for ocean breeze. Firepit space is wonderful with a fantastic view! For older folks you need to use shared driveway for coming/leaving the house but younger generation can handle the small hill from where you park the car. It is a quick walk to Short Sands Beach and favorite beverage/ice cream shop in town. Front porch rockers looking at ocean are wonderful for morning coffee, afternoon nap and evening cocktail. We had a wonderful week!

Nana’s Retreat

The photos and details in the listing are very accurate. This felt very much like “grandma’s house”: rooms are small, ceilings are low, bathrooms are tiny, decor is kitschy. But…The location cannot be beat. The only thing missing from the porch was a hammock. The view of the water and the beach is spectacular. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure & temperature in the showers was adequate. Plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. Plenty of parking, although the hill is a bit steep and slippery when the grass is wet. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you’re looking for a no-frills base for a beach vacation, this does the job nicely. While the listing (and 5 bedrooms) says it sleeps 10 people, the house would likely feel VERY crowded with that many people. We had 4 adults and were comfortable.

Loved this home! Perfect location, everything was in excellent condition and exactly as described. House was well stocked and exceptionally clean. View was wonderful. Very happy with our stay and hope to return next summer!

We all loved the house, especially the view of the beach from the outside porch.We did not have the opportunity to talk to the host.The house and kitchen was clean and well equipped. The beds were all comfortable.A/C was available but not used.The lower parking area was only a minor inconvenience.The short walking distance to the beach and town shops was great, even with my walker.

Amazing place, nice inside just as advertised. On water and close to the beach, 2 minutes walk which was nice because it was quiet.Quaint little town, salt water taffy and chocolate from Candy Corner a must.Highly recommended.Thanks for the stay.
