Our stay was absolutely perfect! The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was perfect, and the beach was beautiful. Communication with the host was excellent and they were always quick to respond.The only downside was that we specifically booked this condo because it advertised a playground, but unfortunately, there was not one available during our stay. Also, the beach chairs and umbrella rentals were way overpriced in our opinion.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Bathrooms weren’t very clean. House keeping had to come back but unfortunately didn’t speak English to understand what needed redone. One of our key cards didn’t work leaving us with only 3 to share between 6 people. It wasn’t until on our last day someone came with a new card that worked. The third bedroom needs updated too. It was very small for 4 people too.

This condo offered everything we were looking for, from accommodations, location, view of the beach, larger pool, proximity to dining, activities and last but not least Walmart for those last minute items.Having 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms allowed each couple to have their own privacy while allowing each couple to get ready for the days events, beach, pool or evening events.The condo offered spacious room for dining in or sipping coffee on the balcony in the morning watching the sunrise. There were some things that needed attention that we made the owner aware of so they could address it ahead of any future rentals, but they didn’t impact our stay or ability to enjoy our last minute vacation.We hope to be able to visit Destin in the future and if this condo were available, we would absolutely stay here again. While the unit didn’t offer beach service, we purchased some chairs and left them behind for others to enjoy.Great place!

Amazing views, amazing pool, and amazing amenities. Perfect for kids, family friendly environment with lots of entertainment.Unit had boogie boards and lots of sand toys to use. We really enjoyed having the beach bar just steps away to not fuss with going off the resort for lunch/dinner. Host was very quick annd accommodating with any requests. Overall we loved vacationing here.

Place was great, clean, nice view of the beach and gulf. Check in procedure needs improvement. We didn't get check in instructions until after arrival. Left us in the dark with parking and how to get into the condo. Had to call to get verbal instructions.

Great Property Great Location

Great stay ( minor things were taken care of right away ) very nice property - clean everywhere- easy excess to beach- pool- shopping- restaurants etc. Definitely would stay here again!

Awesome location!!!

We stayed here for a week and early October! The place was very neat and clean. Great view perfect atmosphere! We stay at this resort before this is a great condo!

The facility is very nice and very secure. Pool is huge snd the tiki bar is very convenient for a quick drink or snack. Great view.Check in was very difficult and unorganized but we got through it

Beautiful place

Our stay was very nice. Communication with property manager was easy. Check in was a little awkward but once we got in everything was great! Location is very nice, love the pool area and the access to the beach. Lots of teenagers here so our teens were happy that they had people to hang out with. Beach was beautiful. Wish the unit came with chair and umbrella service for the price … it seemed like there were tons of chairs and umbrellas that weren’t being used but were owned by the resort but we couldn’t use them 💁‍♀️

Great experience, love the area, the property and the condo

The property at Silver Shells was excellent and safe. Loved having our own parking space close to the elevator. The unit needed some updates, comforters soiled, toilets needed maintenance, kitchen cabinets would not shut, stove needed cleaned, faucet needed changed in kitchen. Otherwise, unit was good, roomy and comfortable. Loved the view from the balcony and the elevator straight into the condo, convenient. We had some problems with a couple of key cards when we first got there, but was resolved the next day. Great location in Destin and lookin forward to our next visit.

The area rug in double bed room, under the dining table, and the rug at the sofa area were so dirty and old, no one should have that old and dirty kinda of rugs, It make my skin crawl and I wanted to vomit everytime, I think about it. They could have changed those rugs, they are not expensive.

Everything we expected!

This unit was amazing. It was perfect for my family of 5. One teenager, one pre teen and a 7 year old. Everything was clean, organized and we had everything we needed. The unit was stocked with beach toys, a cooler, beach chairs and a very unique private elevator entry that made us feel very secure. Communication with the rental company was impeccable. Any question or request that we had the response time was prompt and informative. Looking forward to returning to this exact location! The only thing that I wish was different are the palm trees in front of the resort that mildly blocks the complete shore view but this did not hender the quality of our stay. 100% recommend!

Fall Retreat

Love the Silver Shells location. Our condo was not very clean--toilets were not clean, and floors were very dirty. We were told we would have 6 wrist bands provided and there were only 4. When we requested someone to clean the toilets and bring us more wrist bands we were told they would--NO ONE ever came! The kitchen linens were very limited. We were disappointed as this was our 4th time to stay at Silver Shells. In the future we will seriously look at other options in the area.

We have addressed your concerns with our housekeeping team and assure you this is not the norm! Regarding the pool bands, our pre-arrival photos show 6 wrist bands located in the unit. Nevertheless, we regret this miscommunication and apologize that we were not more thorough in our explanation. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this caused and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. We also apologize that no one returned to the unit to clean the toilet; we have addressed this with our housekeeping manager and take full responsibility for this oversight. Our staff is diligent in fulfilling guest service requests and we deeply regret our lapse in communication. We have scheduled a bathroom deep clean prior to our next guest's arrival and will be sure to replenish the kitchen linens. Again, we thank you for your review and appreciate you notifying us of your concerns. We hope you will consider returning for an improved stay and hope to see you again soon!
