TaHome offers two ways to stay: book our comfortable first-floor guest suite at a lower nightly rate, or upgrade to add the upstairs kitchen, living room, and second-story balcony.

Both options include two bedrooms with California King beds, a bathroom, in-room amenities, a private balcony, and access to the community hot tub, seasonal pool, tennis, pickleball, saunas, and more. You’ll be just minutes from the beach, marina, cafés, dining, and some of North Lake Tahoe’s best recreation.

A note about the space: TaHome is a three-story townhome. With the Suite Only option, your dedicated guest accommodations are on the first floor. The owners live primarily elsewhere but may occasionally occupy the second and third floors when they are in Tahoe.

The main entry is shared, but the owners do not enter the first-floor guest area during your stay. Curtains provide a visual divider between the guest area and the shared entry/stairway, while both bedrooms and the bathroom have locking doors for privacy. For guests traveling with pets, a pet gate is available to help keep dogs downstairs.

Because the guest suite and upstairs living areas are within the same townhome, guests may occasionally hear normal household activity from the floors above when the owners are present.

TaHome puts you in the heart of North Lake Tahoe, with easy access to Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Incline Village, and Truckee.

Walk to Patton Landing Beach and Waterman’s Landing for coffee, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding, or head out to explore Tahoe’s beaches, trails, ski resorts, restaurants, and mountain towns.

Reno-Tahoe International Airport is approximately an hour away, and world-class ski resorts are within easy reach by scenic drives or the free TART Connect shuttle.

Also within walking distance are a 7-Eleven, post office, and local dining favorites including Gar Woods Grill & Pier, Old Post Office Cafe, and CB’s Bistro.

You’re approximately 10 miles from Northstar, Palisades Tahoe, and Alpine Meadows, with Tahoe XC nearby for cross-country skiing and mountain biking.

Depending on the season, you’ll have easy access to downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sledding, mountain biking, hiking, paddling, swimming, and more.
