Location is convenient to Treasure Cay’s Public Beach.

Thank you for your review Shane. Yes, the world-famous, long and beautiful Treasure Cay beach is a short golf-cart ride away. TC Beach is great for long walks! We have a much shorter beach (200 ft) if you want to be right there next to the kitchen, and with chairs, chaise lounges, paddleboards, kayaks, floats, etc.

Home is amazing. Location is perfect. House is well planned out with full glass views of the water from master bedroom and from living/dining room and large window view from open concept kitchen. House is fully stocked with everything needed. Plenty of outdoor seating provided as well as kayaks and paddle boards. Owner was fantastic to deal with. The town is still being rebuilt, but now has everything you need for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Hi Ron, Thank you for the details in your review of our house! Yes, a lot of thought went into rebuilding back better after Dorian destroyed the house -down to the floor (except for the garage!). You got it right when you said it's a good place for "a quiet, relaxing vacation". We feel very fortunate to have that beach house. Beautiful house on the beach

The house was wonderful to stay in. Our family loved it! Very well kept with an exceptional housekeeper. Would stay here again!

Just have to say that you can’t go wrong renting this house. The kitchen was well appointed, the furnishings comfortable, and the views just incredible. We were happy to sit inside or out just looking out over the turquoise waters of Treasure Cay. It was an easy walk to the main Treasure Cay beach, but you don’t need to since you have your own private beach! Golf carts were an easy way to get to restaurants or convenience stores. And it was great that if any issues should arise, the host was always prompt with her responses. Book it and enjoy!

I appreciate that you pointed out a few issues (like a faucett that came unattached, some electrical plugs that didn't work after a power outage, a loose shower bar), so that I could tell the property manager, who otherwise wouldn't know! Awesome place right on the beach. Leah and Greg were so helpful as well as everyone on Abaco.

Great time exploring the different islands. Snorkeling, kayaking, turtles, pigs, and stingrays.

Couples Trip

We had an amazing time! Renting the golf carts was the way to go, no car was needed. We had everything we needed and more! Beautiful place and location!! Thank you!

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for you review! Some people get to the house, and end up just hanging out and relaxing by the beach. So a golf cart is perfect because it gives you wheels to tool around, go to Bahama Beach Club for dinner, or to the bakery, convenience and liquor stores. Beautiful home, stunning beach

This property and beach were gorgeous. The owner was incredibly responsive and attentive. She answered my many questions up front and helped with planning. The property was clean and comfortable, and the beach was unreal. We spent most of our time on the beach or porch. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great week and a great location!

Our week with family in Treasure Cay was great. Leah, the owner, was a good communicator and gave us lots of helpful information about the area and the house. It was the perfect size for our group, had a lovely and spacious kitchen and living room area and the view from the back of the house was amazing. The beach area out back was just right for our grandkids to explore and play in the water and it was a great place to relax and watch the boats go by. Treasure Cay Beach was a short walk away and we took a golf cart to a few shops and restaurants close by. Great week and a great location!

Beautiful House/Great location

Our whole family enjoyed staying in the Jackson House. It is located in a quiet safe area and is right down the street from one of the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. The views from every room are spectacular. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. We stoppd at Maxwells on the way there and bought groceries. We also rented a golf cart and bikes which we all enjoyed. Restaurants are fairly expensive.

Thank you for this informative review! Another choice for groceries besides Maxwell's, is right outside the airport, Abaco Groceries. And it's convenienetly right next to the liquor store. Get some bottled water- as not everyone can drink island water. Don't forget to use it with the ice-maker, too. Yes, the restaurants are fairly pricey, and there are only a handful that have rebuilt so far, so we mostly cook at home. Family Christmas in the Bahamas

Great place to stay with all of our adult kids! We all had our own space at the end of the night, and a fantastic common area to eat, play games, and spend time with one another. The beach is fantastic, the outdoor space is an added bonus for hanging out on those hot days. Our host was amazing at communicating and gave us all the added information about the local islands. Highly recommended!

TREASURE AT TREASURE CAY!

Second time staying at the Jackson House. Feels like home! The private beach is amazing. Super comfortable home perfect for a family vacation. Leah is such an awesome property manager! Thank you once again for lending my family your home! We definitely will be back!

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time at Jackson House. The house is exactly as listed. The beach is just steps from the house. The kids played, swam, snorkeled and paddle boarded while the adults relaxed in the sun. We found having a rental car to be very useful. Thanks Leah!

Great property, beautiful beach and water. Everything as described. Only a couple of dinning choices. We ate at the same restaurant almost every night. Small beach, if you like to walk on the beach you will need to travel to another location. We would not return for these reasons.

Thank you for your review Barry. I'm glad you all found the world famous Treasure Cay beach, which is a fun 5-minute golf cart ride away from the house. It's long and beautiful! Our secluded beach is only 200 ft long. I recommend Bahama Beach Club for better access to Treasure Beach (but it is not as private as our house). So something to consider if you return to TC.
