This is a gem of a stay. Tom is helpful and friendly, the property is beautiful and well-removed from hustle and bustle. A serene getaway.

This was a delightful place to stay. Beautiful setting, quiet and well located relative to great restaurants, weaving shops, and hiking. Tom the owner was a very gracious and informative host. We're already planning our next visit!

It was a very idyllic casita. In the classic Southwest style. We were charmed from day one to day 13. Very private. Tom was an excellent host. Paradise Pond was full of life, from beavers to hummingbirds. We highly recommend this place.

This was such a unique place to stay! Sitting on the patio, we enjoyed watching the wildlife- geese, ducks, beavers, and a variety of songbirds. The casita was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped . Tom was a great host and very helpful.

Fabulous stay. The casita is spacious, beautiful, well stocked with kitchen/cooking supplies, local guides and information, and a front seat to an abundance of nature in the pond. We watched a clutch of goslings grow under their parents' watchful eyes over our five-day stay and many other birds visit the pond. Tom is a kind, considerate, helpful and very knowledgeable host. Highly recommended!

A lovely casita in a peaceful setting. I spent a week at Tom’s casita on a silent retreat. He welcomed and point me toward everything I needed and then gave me space and privacy for the week. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent base of operations

Excellent place with very attentive hosts. Close to Santa Fe, Taos, Los Alamos and hiking everywhere. Great place to stay.

I did not go out for skiing and I don’t ski however the Casita was impeccable in the host was very gracious and accessible if needed. It was extremely relaxing and beautiful atmosphere.

This is a very nice adobe in a great location!Tom was very helpful. The gas kiva fireplace is a nice touch! All the amenities we needed and then some. Near the High road to Taos, which was a plus for us as well as the Sanctuario de Chimayo.

Oasis in the high desert. We saw so much wildlife on the pond; beavers, herons, turtles, ducks, many birds and even a raccoon. Chimayo is a sleepy town but is centrally located for day trips to many great attractions.

Great Stay

This is a peaceful, lovely place to stay. Tom was so helpful as we figured out where to go and what to see. Wonderful library of local sites. Great location. Highly recommend!

Quiet Solitude

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location, lots to see and do in the area or just stay and enjoy the setting, watching the ducks and geese on the pond. Tom was very helpful in recommending restaurants and places to go. Definitely would stay here again when in the area

Sanctuary

Right in the center of so many things to see and do, but you feel like you are far away from the noise and activity. Choose this place if you love quiet and nature!

Birder Paradise

Comfortable accommodations in a beautiful setting. The casita is near the river and located on a small pond which provides a great day of birding from sunrise to sundown. The location is great for day trips to Santa Fe, Taos, Carson National Forest, Valles Caldera and other points of interest. There are good restaurants nearby. The hosts are very pleasant and environmentally conscientious. Nice place to stay.
