The condo had the perfect view of the ocean and the golf course, that made it so relaxing. Pool facility was good, parking convenient.

Waikoloa wins!

Condo complex was as advertised, great “enclave” and residential feel with resort touches! Pool and bar area is DELUXE!

Great Location!!!

We had a fabulous stay in Waikoloa Village. Weather was perfect. Beautiful setting with ocean views. Appreciated the proximity to the pool and clubhouse bar. Unit has upgraded amenities and decor making it comfortable for 4 guests. We would stay here again!

Place is great location good and has parking. Floors needed to be mopped and the checkout process indicated we had to strip beds and start towels in the washer. I’m wondering if we can request part of the cleaning fee since we did part of it. If I recall the cleaning fee was high

Great stay!

Wonderful condo, seemed more spacious than in the photos. Well stocked with beach gear like towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and sand toys. Great location with an ocean view, and short walk to the pool/ocean club!

A little slice of heaven

This is our third time staying in Halii Kai and we just love this resort. The Ocean Club is great for the whole family to enjoy and it's convenient to two different grocery stores. The unit is well stocked with kitchen and beach necessities and is a short walk to the pool. The Ocean views are a lovely bonus and the bbq was great to have.

Beautiful property and location

Hali’i Kai is our favourite place to stay on the Big Island and Hawaii in general. This property is a perfect example of why. Clean, updated, stunning views of the ocean and sunset, easy access to the Ocean Club and everything Waikoloa has to offer. The complex is very quiet. We would absolutely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Ocean & golf course view condo in paradise

Hali i Kai is our favorite location to stay on the big island. The ocean front pool & private restaurant of The Ocean Club is resort living at the best. This 1st floor condo made it easy for us to move in with our golf clubs. View of ocean, golf course. 7c is great!

Paradise found

Great location, great condo. Only recommendation would be to include the beach amenities in the description of the rental. We didn’t realize there were beach toys, chairs, coolers, etc in the outside storage until our 2nd to last day.

Halai'i Kai 7C

Good. It is a bit older, but kept in nice shape. Wifi worked well. Screen on slider could use some work (rips and tears) but that was a minor issue.

Lovely unit with nice views in a great complex

This unit is in a great complex. We have stayed in this complex many times but this was our first time in this unit. I’d definitely stay here again! The unit is furnished nicely and has a great kitchen with various pantry staples and good selection of pans and utensils. The lanai has a bbq and lovely views! Everything was clean and in great shape. There were beach chairs and other items plus good beach towels. A great place and good communication from the managers!

Best location in Waikoloa

We have stayed in Waikoloa many times over the past 25 years and this was one of our favorite locations. The condo, while not huge, worked well for our group of four. With the views of the golf course, palm trees, and ocean, there was no need to go searching for views. We enjoyed the sunset each night from our unit or down at the Ocean Club. The Ocean Club was an added bonus with a full bar, restaurant, and towel service. Hali'i Kai has a great sense of community with many guests returning every year. LOVE Rentals (management company) was very accommodating and easy to work with. They responded promptly to inquiries with a cheerful demeanor. Great vacation!

Hali’i Kai 7C, Sep 24

Very nice condo, beautiful location. Fully equipped in all respects, great lanai for morning coffee and gas grill for dinner. But as with some previous reviews, the question is what we’re getting for that cleaning deposit… old dirty towels left in the bathroom hamper; decorative pillows just scattered on the bed while the sleeping pillows were piled in the corner without covers; fridge water/ice dispenser needs cleaning; ceiling fan light in second bedroom turned itself on and off at all hours, living room ceiling fan turned itself off whenever; A/C took a while to cool things off, then it was OK. Still a great place to stay… with some more attention to the cleaning.

There were 2 small washcloths accidentally left in the hamper in the laundry room which we can only apologize about and let the cleaning crew know about so it does not continue happening. We have never had problems with the fan in the second bedroom. We will take care of cleaning the ice dispenser, thanks for sharing that. This unit just got a new cleaner so we will work with them to ensure nothing but perfection. The AC was off as usual but it looks like it works fine. Beautiful location and views

We had a decent stay with an easy check in process. Our main concerns were that the unit is in need of some deep cleaning. The main bedroom bedsheets were dirty and even after bleaching them there were still spots. The kitchen floor has stains, and the fridge was not in the best condition for overall cleanliness. Other than the cleanliness issues, the unit was in a great location and provided great views. They supplied a lot of beach equipment and had tennis rackets available to use at the local court. I would stay here again if the property management company did a deep cleaning of the unit.

Hali’i Kai Gem

My husband and teen daughter loved staying in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit at this beautiful resort. I was pleased at how clean it was upon arrival and the overall look and vibe of the place. The pictures don’t do it justice! It was well-stocked and equipped, with enough cookware, plates, and silverware to host a dinner for 8 with friends who were also staying at Hali’i Kai. We had an ocean view; they did not. It was so nice to have coffee outside, on the patio. We really liked the option of opening windows and turning on the ceiling fans instead of relying on air conditioning. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer in the unit were pluses. Love Rentals was great with communication from the start, and responded quickly to my email when I had a question. We REALLY enjoyed our stay, including the grounds and amenities at Hali’i Kai. We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat!
