This was a cute little place to stay that was close to the conference we came to attend. We were a group of three teachers and this space provided what was needed. The home is older, but updated and attractive on the inside. We went to dinner and when we came back, we had to weave our way through Pamela Lorraine Rd due to all the cars parked on the sides of the road, but it wasn't a problem. The driveway is quite long so use a backup cam diligently. Overall, we (3 ladies) felt safe in this home.

Few items in need of repair but overall good communication, and was clean. Would not hesitate to stay again if needed. No pans for the oven found had to pick some cheap disposable pans.

We had an issue with the chat assistant they were using but once that was resolved everything was smooth sailing. Everything was extremely clean and the amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee setup) were hotel worthy which was appreciated since I forgot all of those items! If we’re ever back for a concert I will be staying here again!

It was a clean property however there are some small maintenance issues I think need to be taken care of starting with the outside grass was in need of mowing it was knee high, kitchen trash can lid broken, main bathroom shower doors not sliding properly, cracks/holes in the shower surround, shower head could use a replacement and a loose shelf handing from the wall in guest bathroom. Overall it was clean and sufficient for a quick stay for my son’s orientation at UNCC. It is very close to the train which you will hear in the night time but I’m a light sleeper so it was expected.

A clean and well appointed home. All amenities including iron and ironing board are included. The VRBO site suggests that this location is 15 minutes from downtown Charlotte when in actuality it is more like a half hour.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very convenient to UNCC which was why we chose it. It was very clean and as described in the listing. We had everything we needed. Kitchen had only the basics, which was fine since we really didn’t do any cooking. Communication was excellent and I felt like any problems would have been addressed quickly, but we didn’t have any. It was easy to find and we appreciated the space. I’d definitely return if I had reason to be in the area again.

House was lovely overall, especially for the price. Well decorated and cozy. There were a few things that needed repair, but the hosts were extremely good about communication and we had no issues. Location is very close to UNCC campus, which was perfect for our needs. Also very close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Charlotte.

DO NOT RENT! Nightmare Property – Ruined Our TripRating: 1/5 StarsIf I could give zero stars, I would. We booked this house ("Modern 3BR Getaway Near UNCC...") for a college visit and football camp tour. After a 3-hour drive from camp, we arrived at 4:30 PM (after the 4:00 PM check-in time), exhausted and ready to relax.Instead, we walked into a disaster. The property was completely uncleaned, poorly maintained, and in total disarray. When we contacted management, they casually told us the cleaners were still 30–45 minutes away. Expecting exhausted guests to wait until nearly 6:00 PM for a house that should have been ready at 4:00 PM is unacceptable.Communication is an absolute joke. The host hides behind a useless virtual assistant called "WELCOMEMAT" that does nothing to help. The host refused to contact us, and they even ignored the phone when VRBO Customer Service tried to call them.Because of the filthy state of the house and the non-existent communication, we had to abandon the rental and pay out of pocket for a hotel. Now that we've requested a refund, the host has completely vanished.Do not let the listing description fool you. This place is neglected, poorly managed, and a total scam. STAY AWAY.

The host was very informative and there to answer any questions. I really appreciate that as a host.The house is in front of a train tracks and the neighborhood is nosey all through the night. This had nothing to do with the host.

Outside doors (all the indoor ones as well) don’t always close properly. There was a strong weed smell when we entered the property. One of the dining room chairs was broken/breaking. There also wasn’t enough seating for 6 people, and the broken chair only exacerbated this issue. Lamps, blinds lightbulbs, and shelves broken in several locations. Extra linens were only found in the dryer, there weren’t enough out to accommodate our group of 6. Most of the cookware (which was scant and not in good condition), was dirty or halfheartedly cleaned. The appliances are all nice and in good working order. The old queen mattresses were not pleasant to sleep on. Hosts were very communicative, but it is hard to say that our party of 6 felt safe here. Be very aware that train tracks are very close and that trains run at all hours of the day and nights.
