Stylish, spacious and convenient. This gorgeous custom home was featured on the Boulder County Modern Home Tour! Enjoy space for everyone with 5 bedrooms with 3 king sized beds and 2 queen sized beds. Terrific space inside and out for making memories! Gather in the large kitchen, enjoy sunny Colorado on the patio which has ample seating. Enjoy the double sided gas fireplace in the dining room or the living room. Great for day trips to Rocky Mountain National Park. Only 20 minutes to Boulder. Please note that all bedrooms and bathrooms are on the 2nd floor. This home has a private basement apartment with a separate entrance that host stays in. Maximum number of vehicles is 5. Vehicles can be parked in the garage and on the driveway. No street parking allowed. No RV's allowed. This is the host's primary residence. Host has personal belongings stored in the home.

Great location

The neighborhood was quiet and this is a great location to get to Boulder and Rocky Mountain National Park/Estes Park.

First off, this house and the property is stunning. It is perfectly located between Boulder and Lyons. I had my immediate family with me for my son‘s wedding in Lyons. We needed a large house with five bedrooms and this definitely fit the bill. The house was stocked with all of the amenities we needed for the trip such as iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and a stocked kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, etc. I actually baked my son‘s wedding cake in the oven (which was great, BTW). I want to add that the beds are very comfortable and there are an assortment of different types of pillows throughout the house so it was pretty easy to find one that worked for each of our many travelers. Makes a big difference when you sleep comfortably during a trip. The first floor features a nice living room and dining room with enough space for a large family to gather. As a side benefit, we really enjoyed spending time in Longmont. Our welcome dinner was hosted at The Roost on the very charming Main Street. I’d like to spend some time walking around and enjoying some of the other cafés and shops in the future. We really enjoyed our visit at this property!

Marylin was very responsive. The home was as advertised. Unusual layout (no bathroom on first floor and very open/so not a ton of privacy)....BUT we had a great stay and appreciated finding paper towels, coffee filters and some other basics that we didn't have to purchase. Also, neighborhood was very quiet and a lovely area for morning walks.

I'm glad you took advantage of the walking trail behind the house. Yes the house has a front wall of windows and dining area has partial walls of windows. All of the openness can take some getting used to. Some find the huge amount of natural light to be the best feature of the home. To build the separate entrance to the basement apartment, I had to block off the downstairs powder room. In Boulder County to have a short term rental, it must be the owners primary residence, hence the basement apartment. Thank you for being great guests. Best Wishes.

Gorgeous home. Owner was terrible with communication and aggressive, swinging moods. She gave us incorrect room info and took many weeks to get back on two occasions. She was excessive ocd level with cleaning ideas though 5 people said the place was left in excellent condition. She offered us another day when two of our elderly, confused ladies were late checking out (she had no bookings after) and we asked for it, then she took it back, began messaging negative and aggressive messages... mind you not calling us at the two emergency numbers provided immefoately as was. Went through and inappropriately trested guest belongings. we paid her late fees, had the ladies rushed back and out, saw the home ourselves as near spotless... but then she began adding charges for one bathroom she claimed was not perfect... though we already pd her cleaning fee. Not a good host and definitely moody, unreliable and aggressive. Mind you we paid the highest, expensive rate in the city for this rental! Thousands! Ridiculous. We rented three vrbos same area and the others were all top rate, wonderful and cordial - even though one guest checked in at a late hour in one.

That's a very skewed story. The 2 ladies and 1 gentleman who stayed late were in their 60's but that didn't stop them from partying until 3 am the night before. So, after their check out time which was 10 am, I found they had their belongings in the rooms. The front door was unlocked and the back sliding doors were left open. They had left the house open to theft. I messaged them on the app, texted and called Kathena and had VRBO contact her and there was no response. I initially thought they might be right back because of how they left the house, but I had no communication and hours went by. At about 5pm I hadn't heard anything and started to pack up their belongings. That's when I saw a luggage tag and called the number and got an answer. By this time, I didn't feel safe renting to them for another night because they had left the house unsecured for several hours. They claimed that they didn't know they were supposed to check out. Hmmm... so we agreed they would come pack their things and leave. Kathena called me at this time - about 5 pm - and said that she didn't have her phone on her all day. I assessed them a late check out fee and moved on. Later I found a mess on the bathroom walls and door (hint: it was from partying) that I charged $50 for. I assure you this is not OCD, it was gross. There were no agressive messages or mood swings, just matter of fact like, "Check out time was 3 hours ago", etc. All communication and room info was provided promptly.
