I enjoyed the view from the porch and very much so liked the fenced yard and thoughtful pet friendly house. Our stay was nice and quiet once we settled for the night. The house had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again in the future.

We have stayed here a couple of times and have it booked again in October. Host is quick to respond, house is set up nicely and very clean. The bed is also very comfortable. The best part is the wrap around porch and fenced in yard for our dogs.

Immaculate pet friendly cozy three bed one bath home. We enjoyed our stay. The home had all the essentials if we chose to cook at home. The instant hot water was a treat! It was no frills, but charming at the same time. Several flat screen tv’s with cable and WiFi included. Away from the city, but close enough to Asheville to see the sights. We would definitely recommend this property. A cleaner home you will not find!!

I would give this property and it's owners 10 stars if I could!These hosts have thought of EVERYTHING! It is a quaint home with slight views of the mountains and is very family-friendly, even for children and pets. We absolutely LOVED the large wrap-around porch! We could even sit outside while it was raining, and it was so relaxing!The safety gates and fenced yard were definitely a plus!Also, everything you need is right there... bedding, extra blankets, stocked kitchen, and more!The owners respond to messages quickly and live close if you need anything!We can't wait to visit again!

We enjoyed this charming home! We were having our wood floors refinished and we needed a place to stay for a week. We had everything we needed at this lovely home! It’s cute and it’s got some history! Jef was the owner and so easy to deal with. He was helpful when we had questions and told us the house was build in 1930. We stayed in comfortable beds, cooked meals in the kitchen, and enjoyed the covered porch with its Mountain View through the trees. Families of deer were spied several times during our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely vintage home to anyone who wants to stay 15 minutes outside of Asheville proper. Thanks Jef and Karen for your hospitality!

My dog and I had a wonderful weekend! The house is lovely. The fenced yard is perfect for a dog-inclusive stay. Quiet at night and mornings on the porch are lovely.

We had an incredible stay at the farmhouse. It was one of the cleanest rentals we've stayed in for awhile! It had every thing you needed for a comfortable stay. The yard was private and the porch a comfortable place to sit at night to play games and drink coffee in the morning. We intended to travel with pets which is why we originally booked the home but ended up not bringing them. I can see why this place gets great reviews for pets. The yard and fence are really great. It's a short scenic drive from Asheville and we would definitely stay here again!

The home was clean and neat. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. Each room has a TV with instructions on how to use it. There are some games and puzzles as well. It is also very dog friendly inside in terms of couch and chair coverings should your dogs jump on them. Plus they included dog dishes. They even have flashlights (which I forgot) for nighttime dog outings. There are clear instructions for most things. You really need to follow the coffee pot instructions but once you do you can make single cups easily! I did not see any instructions on where to place recycling so we left it in the bin in the kitchen. The fenced yard was perfect for our two small dogs as was the porch that was gated at both ends. We enjoyed our visit and hope to return perhaps this Winter/Spring!

This home was perfect for our visit . We loved so many things- from the front porch to the large dining area that was great for playing games and gathering with family. The fenced in yard was perfect for the kids. We will return here next time we visit our family. Highly recommend!

We arrived late in the Afternoon and everything was wonderful. Our Dog had a wonderful Time laying on the Porch and running around in the Yard.The Kitchen had everything you need.Everything was clean and the Beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back. We drove to Craggy Gardens and Lake Lure

Very cozy we always love staying here when we visit and the fenced in yard for our fur babies is great..we will always return to this house for our stayes...the owners are super sweet very good people for sure.

Cute house with all the necessities! We brought along our two pups and they loved the big fenced in yard while we made use of the porch. It was a great place to relax and unwind from our adventures in Asheville.

The hosts were great and the house was very clean. I loved the fence in yard and Mountain Views from the porch. Great location - you were in the country but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants and a good central location to go check out near by towns. I miss it already!

Wonderful Oasis

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The house is very comfortable and clean and the wrap-around porch and fenced in yard were just wonderful.
