The home was exactly as listed. As soon as we opened the door we could smell how clean it was and it was spotless. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need. We appreciated the moderate decorations and no extra clutter.

We are returning guests to the cottage on the river, and this time we also rented this 2 bedroom renovated home next door so other family members could join us. It worked out perfectly to be able to walk back and forth between our units.

Designated covered parking. Very clean 2BR 1BA ( w/washer and dryer) in quiet neighborhood. Everything is new and functional. Sweet deck in back to enjoy the view and barge/tug traffic on the Ohio River. Close to Wheeling WVA (20 mins) and not too far from Pittsburgh Airport (less than an hour) Would stay here again for sure

Beautiful property! Quiet area surrounding. The property was clean and comfortable. There is a carport that was a nice feature. Washer and dryer in the bathroom.

Heat stopped working, and they got it fixed very promptly! Everything was clean, views were great, and beds were comfy. I’ll plan on staying again next time in visiting!

The kitchen was very nice and equipped with all the essentials and the house was very nice and accommodating/cozy... The town doesn't have much for shopping but there are plenty of things to do within a short distance drive away

The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable. The veiw of the river, landscape, wild life was priceless. During our morning coffee a large buck deer walked right down the street it was great. Nice little town had all the convenience stores we needed. The house was adorable.

This house was amazing! My kids (aged 6 to 10) absolutely loved it. It was perfect for our family of five. We loved the location - right on the Ohio river! We all got excited when barges floated by! The town is quaint and small, but there was a nice playground about 5 minutes from the house and enough restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Super clean house, well stocked, and updated. We came here to be close to Oglebay and visit there - very easy drive over to WV. Hosts were great to communicate and work with.

My friend and I really enjoyed staying at this cute, well-cared-for white house right on the Ohio River! It was only about a 18 or so minute drive to Wheeling where we were attending an event. It is spacious inside with an open floor plan and the appliances are new. Everything we needed was available to us. The full bathroom is downstairs and the furniture is comfortable. Communication was great with the host and all of our questions were answered. There is a little grocery store across from the Marathon station in Tiltonsville where I picked up a few items for a quick breakfast and PB&J for a packable lunch. The air conditioning worked great on the August hot humid summer days and the deck in the back with a view of the Ohio River was really nice. It was a great alternative to staying at a crowded hotel for special events. We felt very comfortable there.

The house was very clean and well layed out. Plenty of space. Outlets galore and felt like the appliances are all brand new. We will 100% be back.

Overall we loved our stay here. One little hiccup was we didn't receive check in details by the time we arrived, however when I called the host he was able to get me the information I needed within minutes so it wasn't a big inconvenience.The house was extremely clean, the kitchen was big and had everything we needed except I couldn't find a cutting board but no biggie. The laundry facilities came in super handy. The back deck was a very nice for relaxing and overlooking the river. I highly recommend this place!

Cute place in a convenient location

This is a cute little place with plenty of space. Much more comfortable than a hotel room. Only takes about 15 minutes to drive to Martins Ferry and Wheeling. My son enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the barges on the river. Loved having a good k-cup coffee maker available. I also greatly appreciated the washer and dryer that allowed me to wash up our laundry the night before we left so that I didn't have a bunch of laundry to do when we got home. We also enjoyed relaxing in the living room at night and watching a movie.I highly recommend this lovely little place over a hotel room. Only word of warning is that the bedrooms are upstairs, while the bathroom is downstairs. So if you get up a lot during the night that is something to consider. If that's not an issue for anyone in our party, then this is a great place to stay. We will definitely stay their again next time we're down visiting family.

Great stay! The property was very clean with a great view of the river. The host was very responsive with questions. The town is very small with not much to do but it was a perfect stay for a trip to Olgebay the next day.

We had the pleasure of enjoying this beautiful on the Ohio river location... Of this two bedroom house. The place was immaculately clean, quiet neighborhood, beautiful scenery on the back deck, and nice little front porch to sit out on, with a small covered parking space for my car that was wonderful since we had a huge thunder and lightning storm that night. The bedrooms were clean, the beds were nice and comfortable, the convenience of the location was amazing as we were close to quite a few places for food, and recliners that we almost fell asleep in watching TV, cuz they were so comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay, and hope that our review allows others to see how wonderful this place was. We thank the owners for the use of their wonderful getaway home. And we are definitely looking at coming back in the next year or so as it was a great experience. The host was phenomenal and communication and was extremely nice. This is the second property the host loans on this location, we visited the first on our way down and this was our visit going home. Both locations were phenomenal and totally enjoyable calm and quiet.
